General Hospital Star Kimberly McCullough Shares Devastating News

Families across the country are currently preparing for the holidays at home, but some families on the West Coast don’t have homes to prepare.  The California wild fires displaced hundreds of Cali residents and are still raging on.  And, General Hospital star Kimberly McCullough was sadly one of those effected.

Earlier this month the General Hospital actress revealed on social media that she and her baby boy Otis were evacuated from their home in Ojai.  Luckily, no one was hurt, the Robin Scorpio-Drake portrayer and he family are just fine their home on the other hand is not.

Kimberly revealed on Instagram that she and her family won’t be able to celebrate Otis’ first Christmas at home, which is truly devastating after all of the work they put in to make their house a home.  Our hearts to out to Kimberly and her family, and everyone else who has been affected by the devastating fires on the West Coast.

Went by the house today to asses the damage. Although our house is still standing (thank you firefighters!) the smoke damage is extensive and is uninhabitable. It’s going to be a process. It’s difficult to accept that we won’t be able to spend our first Christmas with our son in our home and that a place we love so much looks like a war zone. However, we are grateful that we have a home to go back to someday and that we have our health and everyone is safe. It ain’t over till it’s over and the fire still threatens other communities and their families. All my love to you. In these hard times let’s be kind and lean on each other. I love you Ojai!
