General Hospital Spoilers: Who Is Steve Burton Going To Play On GH?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Kelly Monaco is as confused as the viewers about who Steve Burton will be playing. General Hospital comings and goings tease that Steve Burton’s first scenes should be airing any day now, but no one knows who he will be playing, yet!

Kelly explained to ABC Soaps In Depth that she has no idea how they will be bringing Steve back. She added that the writers have been tight-lipped and non-disclosure agreements have been signed to make sure no one leaks the scoop. Monaco stated that she has five different ways it could play out in her head but isn’t sure how it will play out.

All Kelly knows is that she is nervous about Steve’s return. She has worked with Billy Miller for three years, and they have reinvented Jason Morgan and Sam’s relationship. She would hate for their on-screen duo to change. However, she had a great working relationship with Steve as well.

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Monaco hasn’t seen Burton since the Emmy awards ceremony, five years ago. She had moved on and accepted Billy Miller as her working partner, but now, she is wondering if things are about to change.

The GH viewers are nervous about Steve’s return. In August, the GH spoilers indicated that he was on the ABC set for his first day of filming. General Hospital’s EP, Frank Valentini reported that he doesn’t understand why the fans would want to know the storyline in advance. He encouraged the viewers to enjoy his return and keep an open mind.

So far, Steve Burton has not revealed much about his character on social media. A few weeks ago, he posted a video, teasing fans that his new storyline shouldn’t be missed. Yet, he didn’t hint or tease anything about his new character. It’s led to the fans hanging on his every post and tweet trying to decode it for the tiniest spoiler.

General Hospital’s EP said that no one online has figured out who Steve will be playing, yet. He teased that the storyline isn’t just about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), it must be about everyone. Valentini suggested that Burton’s return will rock Port Charles.
