General Hospital Spoilers Tuesday August 22: Franco Needs Ava’s Help – Carly and Alexis Bond – Sam Struggles With Difficult Choice

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, August 22, 2017 reveal that after Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) has his romantic reunion with the love of his life, GH nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst); he sets out to destroy any and all of his artwork that reminds him of his retched past and sinister deeds.

Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) catches him in the act and encourages him to reach out to her mother, Ava Jerome (Maura West); an art dealer who just lost everything in a massive warehouse fire.  GH sources show Franco will take Kiki’s advice and goes to talk to Ava, asking for her help and a favor.  Will Ava be willing to help Franco out, even in her vulnerable state?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) have far more in common than they care to admit and Tuesday’s episode will once again reveal that they share so many similar things; especially when it comes to loving men involved in some very questionable business dealings.  Carly has loved Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for decades and still struggles with his life as a mobster; well at least when it suits her!  She hates that her family is ever in danger; which is exactly what Alexis is going through right now.

Alexis’ heart still belongs to crime boss Julian Jerome (William deVry), but her mind knows how dangerous he is and what it would mean to open herself up to him and allow him back into her life.  Both Carly and Alexis have daughters who are adamant about their mothers staying away from the men they love, and avoid falling into the same destructive pattern over and over; but will either woman listen to their children or will their hearts win over logic?

GH’s Samantha “Sam” Morgan (Kelly Monaco) has been hospitalized after it was discovered she was suffering from toxoplasmosis; and although she is on the mend, she still struggles from the knowledge of what she has done to her dear friend, Sonny Corinthos.  Sonny understands mental illness, and has forgiven Sam for what she did when she wasn’t in control but can Sam let it go?

Spoilers suggest Sam is about to make a big decision, her and Sonny have been keeping the tragic event a secret, so is it possible she has decided to admit to what she did and hope there will be forgiveness and understanding all around?
