General Hospital Spoilers Thursday January 5: Alexis Haunted By Tom Memories – Michael and Nelle’s Deal – Franco Gets Close To Truth – Julian Warns Sam

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, January 5, 2017 reveal Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have been toying around with a reconciliation after they both suffered a great loss when their youngest son, Morgan (Bryan Craig) was killed in what appears to be a mob hit gone wrong.  

Carly and Sonny were able to reunite over New Year’s Eve and Carly gave in to her undying love for Sonny, but for how long?  Sonny is being weighed down by his guilt over sleeping with Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) and Carly struggles with his choice of business and how being with him could cost her more people she loves. 

GH’s Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has been spending more and more time with Nelle, and with his mother’s encouragement, they seem to be heading towards becoming a couple.  Sources reveal Michael will strike a deal with Nelle, will he continue to be so friendly with her when he finds out she supposedly had sex with his father?

Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) is on a mission to prove his innocence when it comes to the murder of Tom Baker (Don Harvey).  After Tom’s brother, Seth (Michael Rodrick) throws accusations around at the hospital, Franco visits the dive bar Gene’s to ask the bartender questions about who Tom was with that night.  He knows it was a woman, but the bartender keeps his mouth shut when he sees Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) standing in the doorway. 

General Hospital’s Alexis has been fighting to get her law career back, but her constantly drowning her sorrows has caused her more grief than anything or anyone else.  Alexis is having flashbacks to the night Tom Baker was killed, and knows she ran into him at Gene’s but doesn’t remember much else.  Gene’s bartender approaches Alexis and tells her they both know more than either one of them is saying about that night.  Is her secret safe, or is her life about to get a whole lot worse?

Julian Jerome (William DeVry) has been concerned that his daughter, Samantha (Kelly Monaco) and her husband, Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) have been tracking Rudge (David Lee).  Spoilers show Julian meeting with Sam and giving her advice about backing off.  Sam has never been one to listen or follow advice, especially from her father; will she get more than she bargained for when she disobeys him? 

Port Charles P.I. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is seen meeting with someone at the police station, telling them its time to confess everything.  Who is he with and what does this have to do with their investigation into the bomb on Julian’s car?
