General Hospital Spoilers: Steve Burton Shares GH Return Details And Confirms He’s Sticking Around!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Steve Burton has confirmed through a social media chat that he is returning to Port Charles for an extended length of time. Fans will be super happy to hear this news, even though he won’t reveal whether he will be portraying the real Jason Morgan, currently played by Billy Miller, or not.

The only thing that Steve has been able to share is that his return is going to be soon and filled with a lot of shocking revelations that he promises will be very entertaining.

GH’s super star Steve Burton also explains that his return was put in motion at The Daytime Emmy Awards show where he was acknowledged for his hard work portraying The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Dylan McAvoy, son of soap opera veterans, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson).

Burton explains that it was the hand of fate that brought him back to ABC’s daytime drama series General Hospital. After winning the award, he was locked out of the building and ran into Bobby Moses talent agent who represents his close friend, Maurice Benard, who portrays Sonny Corinthos on GH. Moses met with ABC network and General Hospital and Steve Burton’s return was shockingly announced.

Burton announced on social media that General Hospital is his home and he cannot wait to be back. He had been on the series for over 20 years and the reunion will be super sweet; his devoted fan base couldn’t agree more.

As GH fans know, Steve Burton played Jason Quartermaine/Morgan since 1991 and were devastated to see the talented actor walk away from the ABC soap opera. Some fans followed him to CBS’ The Young and the Restless but always felt he would always be their one true Jason Morgan on General Hospital.
