General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny And Carly Relationship Takes Ugly Turn – Is CarSon Really Over?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that this could finally be the end of CarSon: Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Ever since their son, Morgan (Bryan Craig) was killed in a car bomb meant for Julian Jerome (William deVry); this beloved couple has been unable to fully close the space between them.

Just as it seemed Carly and Sonny were able to repair the damage and come out stronger; Carly was hit with the fact that Sonny spent the night with her assistant, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Carly wasn’t as upset about the infidelity as much as she hated that Sonny hid it from her for months.

Now General Hospital’s mobster, Sonny wants to know where things stand, and Carly feels he is pushing her, when he had months in which he could have told her the truth.

He has never been one to stay in the state of disarray for long, as it is mentally draining and extremely frustrating.

Carly’s uncertainty has caused Sonny to give her an ultimatum, insisting he is no longer going to chase her to be with her; either she wants him nor she doesn’t. It seems pretty black and white, right? He may have spent the night with Nelle, but had she not blamed him immediately and bailed on him when they BOTH lost their son, his bed would have already been full.

GH’s sources show that Nelle is one of the reasons Carly cannot move on. Nelle has chosen to stay in town and is the new nanny to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez); seeing the woman who cheated with her husband, day in and day out, has to be eternally frustrating and a slap in the face every time she sees her.

General Hospital fans can only hope that the rest of her family are able to stay away from Nelle, It is highly unlikely Carly would be able to forgive Nelle and accept her if she were to get together with her only remaining son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

To add to all their problems, there still lingers the issue of Ava Jerome (Maura West) swapping Morgan’s bipolar medication for placebos. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is literally holding onto a grenade; if she chooses to reveal what she knows about Ava’s involvement of Morgan’s demise, no one knows who Ava should be more afraid.

Carly was so close to pulling the trigger on her older sister Liv (Tonja Walker) for planting the bomb; imagine what she will do to Ava, someone she has hated for a really long time; especially if she has nothing to lose with her marriage being over and Sonny not there to stop her.
