General Hospital Spoilers: Soap Sources Say Steve Burton’s Return NOT Temporary – Is Billy Miller Leaving GH?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and news indicate that Steve Burton’s return will not be just temporary. Since the news broke of Steve Burton’s return to General Hospital, social media has been quite active with speculations from hundreds of fans wondering if Steve would only return as a temporary stint.

Many fans have posted on twitter and other social media websites that perhaps Steve Burton will appear as Jason Morgan in one of Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) hallucinations. Rest assured, that is simply not the case!

According to Daytime Confidential’s Jamey Giddens recent twitter post, he responded to a fan who asked the question on whether Burton was returning on temporarily.

Giddens responded rather promptly to that inquiry and stated that Burton’s return to General Hospital is definitely not temporary- he is expected to remain on the ABC soap and it is long-term.

With that being said, this could potentially be bad news for many fans of Billy Miller’s version of Jason Morgan as many viewers have learned to adapt to and love the new Jason Morgan. But now with Burton’s return, what could this mean for Billy Miller’s fate on General Hospital?

In regards to the future for Billy Miller on General Hospital, there is still no confirmation from Valentini about this but many are rightfully concerned. If Burton does indeed return as the real Jason, does that mean Miller’s version of Jason was simply an impostor or perhaps a relative, which would explain the close blood ties? Anything is possible!
