GH’s Sam hasn’t been herself lately and fans are wondering if we will ever see our strong, independent private eye back as she falls further and further into the darkness that surrounds her mind.

Sam has gotten lost within herself, where she suddenly feels like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is the cause of all her problems and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is out to get her.
She feels threatened and insecure with things and people who have always had her back. One has to wonder what is causing her to be in such turmoil.

General Hospital spoilers show Sam having visions of Jason with blood on his face and Elizabeth Webber holding a gun with Sam hearing that she isn’t safe and never will be. Her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is concerned about Sam, asking her if she is okay; but it will take a visit to GH for her to finally admit to someone, a doctor, that she really might not be okay.
Now that Sam has admitted something isn’t right, how will the doctors help her and what will be the exact reason for this change in her behavior? There can be several reasons for her unbalanced mentality including PTSD after all the traumatic things she has gone through lately or poisoning.
The one thing fans of the ABC soap opera are finding hard to swallow is how ignorant her husband, Jason has been to her odd behavior and would jet off to Puerto Rico to save Sonny and Carly (Laura Wright) Corinthos, leaving Sam cowering on the floor in fear for her life, warranted or not. How will Jason feel when he discovers just how much his wife is suffering?
