General Hospital Spoilers: Robert Palmer Watkins Off Contract But Don’t Count Him Out!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Robert Palmer Watkins, who portrays GH’s Dillon Quartermaine, has responded to the overwhelming reactions to the rumor that he has been “fired”. Many fans of the ABC soap opera were outraged when the news initially broke, and they blew up at the powers that be and anyone they could lash out at, hoping to be heard; but some of the comments went overboard and although he appreciated the love and support, Watkins felt it necessary to remind his fans that bashing another actor, producers or writers is not something he supports, saying this is no one’s fault!

GH’s Robert Palmer Watkins admits that going off contract was not his decision and hopes he will be able to stay on with a recurring status instead. This all came up while he was filming “Last Three Days”, so in a way, the break from General Hospital, he considers a blessing. He reminds fans to look out for “Last Three Days” to come out next year.

General Hospital sources tease that Dillon is currently involved with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and that have a huge fan base who affectionately call them “Killon”, but with his contract not renewed there are so many possible ways things could play out. Kiki has become fully invested in becoming a doctor, taken under the wing of Dr. David Bensch (James DePaiva); it’s beginning to look like her plans for her career are interfering in their developing relationship.

While away in Morocco, it looked like there was a spark between Dillon and Nelle Hayes Benson (Chloe Lanier) and with GH spoilers implying that the truth of Nelle’s dangerous and dark past comes to light, things could become very shaky between her and her boyfriend, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who also happens to be Dillon’s cousin. Either way things unfold, Robert Palmer Watkins (Dillon Quartermaine) tells fans not to count him out yet as “this is not the end of him.”
