General Hospital Spoilers: Nelle’s Past Exposed – Can Michael Truly Forgive and Trust Her

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that after Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had a few special moments in Morocco before he was called away on business; things turned sour for Nelle when she was accused of stealing a priceless sapphire and diamond necklace. Fans thought after that dilemma was over, things would go back to being wonderful between the couple; but no such luck!

GH’s Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) initially loved Nelle, but after he betrayal and revelation that she drugged Sonny Corinthos (Maurce Benard) to make it look like he had cheated on Carly and slept with Nelle, she grew very weary of her. As time went by, Carly noticed how much her son, Michael loves Nelle and she decided to step back and just let things flow; even discouraging her mother, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zemen) from digging into Nelle’s past.

General Hospital spoilers tease that Carly finally reveals to Michael what PI Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) was able to uncover about Nelle’s past, forcing Nelle to finally admit to Michael her dark past, which will absolutely shock him. GH fans wonder if Michael will be able to see past her betrayal and continue a relationship with her, let alone a friendship.

Michael has never been a stupid man, but he has been very unlucky when it comes to love. Just remember his relationships with both Abby Haver (Andrea Bogart) and Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo), ended tragically with their deaths; Kiki Jerome (now-Hayley Erin) couldn’t decide who she wanted to be with, him or his now deceased brother, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig).

GH sources wonder if Michael will be able to forgive Nelle and continue their relationship or will he never be able to view her the same, always questioning anything she says or does? He may understand and accept what happened in her dark past, but if he looks at everything she has done to his family plus what she has done in the past; it could spell the end of this couple. Do you think Michael can look past her betrayal, or omission of the truth?
