General Hospital Spoilers: Nelle’s Confession Brings Heartbreak to Corinthos Family – Can She Redeem Herself?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that all the drama Nelle Hayes/Benson (Chloe Lanier) is definitely going to continue. The revelation as to why she did the things she did, shocked Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to his very core.

GH’s Michael has always been kind-hearted, and the mediator to the many battles among his family and between the Corinthos and Quartermaine families; so he does offer her a chance to explain herself. He had developed true feelings for her and was looking forward to see where life was going to lead them and then he is hit with this bombshell. He really wants to know if any of it was real, or was he just a pawn in her game to destroy his mother?

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had been onto her for a while, when she planted her bra on his bed for his wife, Carly (Laura Wright) to discover it; she was warned by Sonny to stop playing the games and to never come near him nor his family again. It appears Nelle may have actually dug her own grave when everyone learns, how far her deception went, including secretly recording Sonny.

In this whole scenario, the only thing Sonny is really guilty of is not telling Carly about the night he spent in bed with Nelle. The problem is, as far as General Hospital viewers know, Sonny was drugged by Nelle and never actually had sex with her, something we all are waiting for her to still confess to; but will she?

Carly Corinthos isn’t a dumb woman, she is incredibly resilient, conning and definitely not someone you want as an enemy. She took Nelle at first as gratitude for saving her daughter, Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) by donating her kidney years earlier; it then developed into a friendship and they became like sisters; which ironically they are: through adoption!

Carly suspected something was off for a while too, but she didn’t want to believe she could have been fooled by Nelle and to think all of this is because of the lies Frank Benson told Nelle’s head with. At this point, is there any chance Nelle could redeem herself, especially when it comes to all the Corinthos family members; including a young Joss?
