General Hospital Spoilers: Nelle on Road to Redemption – Will Michael Forgive Her, What Will Carly Do?

General Hospital (GH)’s Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) has done her fair share of wicked misdeeds in the name of revenge.
Drugging Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to make him believe they had slept together, secretly recording their conversation about it, and rubbing it in Carly Corinthos’s (Laura Wright) face, just to name a few.
After everything that’s happened, will Nelle ever be able to repair the damage that she inflicted on the Corinthos family?

Nelle is especially desperate for a second chance with Carly’s son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
She fell head over heels for Michael and was even ready to end her scheming in order to be with him but it was too late.
The entire ugly truth came out, in front of Michael as they were planning to leave town together.
After learning that her revenge on Carly was based on a lie, Nelle genuinely felt terrible.
She came clean about drugging Sonny and she did everything she could to help Jerry “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) from facing prosecution after he admitted that he was the one to make a deal to pay Nelle’s dad for her kidney in order to save Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
But that wasn’t nearly good enough for Carly, who made it very clear to Nelle that she will never forgive her and neither will Michael.
With Carly’s convoluted history, first arriving in Port Charles with a vengeful plan of her own against her birth mom, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zemen), in time Carly may have a change of heart.
After all, Nelle hasn’t done anything that most of the good citizens of Port Charles haven’t done themselves, if not worse.

But for the moment Carly remains firm and is constantly reminding Michael that Nelle isn’t nearly good enough for him.
Does Michael agree though?
Michael insists that he has no intentions of being romantic with Nelle but the two can’t seem to stay away from each other.

Unlike Carly, Michael was sympathetic toward Nelle learning that her father and Carly’s adoptive father, Frank Benson was the real person that deceived her.
Michael was also thankful that Nelle stepped up to help Jax for Josslyn’s sake which led to the pair sharing some friendlier conversations together.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that next week Nelle will step up for another one of Michael’s little sisters, Avery Jerome-Corinthos. (Ava and Grace Scarola)
Afterward, Nelle and Michael will spend some time together in the park, along with Avery and Charlotte Casadine (Scarlett Fernandez).
It looks as though Nelle’s good behavior may end up paying off in regards to repairing her relationship with Michael.
Nelle is expected to experience both highs and lows in the coming weeks. Will she finally be able to redeem herself in Michael’s eyes and explore a relationship with him?
When Carly finds out, how far will she be willing to go in order to keep Nelle away from Michael?
