If General Hospital were an orchestra, Maurice Benard would be its maestro. Ever since 1993, Maurice has portrayed the multi-faceted character of Michael “Sonny” Corinthos, Jr. on ABC’s popular soap opera. A mobster with a touch of romance, Benard has become a fan favorite by taking time to share the inside scoop on social media. Now he’s spilling the tea on which General Hospital stars are returning to everyone’s favorite fictional town of Port Charles.
Return Of Steve Burton
Maurice Benard is joining fans in feeling delighted at the return of Steve Burton. But the actor skillfully avoided revealing whether he prefers Burton to Billy Miller. Instead, Maurice is doing the opposite of the “less is more” theory by proclaiming that he believes in the “more the merrier” as far as “General Hospital” is concerned.
While Benard hinted that he sides with Steve because of his brotherly role, he’s also close to Billy. That should be a relief for Miller fans.

At one point, there was speculation that Miller might be leaving. But late last month, there were rumors that Miller had signed a new contract. Those claims, combined with Maurice’s refusal to choose between Billy and Steve, sounds as if there could be some intriguing plots involving the two.
Port Charles Gets Crowded
The week of August 28 on General Hospital is overflowing with excitement, because (drumroll, please) it’s Magic Milo time! Yes, that’s right, Drew Cheetwood is returning as Magic Milo Giambetti. Add in Quinn Danvers, and the storylines are getting even more intriguing.

Drew turned to Instagram to share his energized enthusiasm for General Hospital along with a glimpse into his personal life.
“Threw down with these blokes tonight on an epic BBQ! ” wrote Magic Milo. “@1steveburton back at GH is going to be even more epic than this BBQ though! Got the inside scoop tonight and y’all need to get ready!!! #abc #gh #max #milo #and?”
And Drew has lots of company in Port Charles. Stephen Smith is set to take off his ESPN host hat and put on his persona as Brick, the dynamic surveillance maintenance man of Sonny. Joining Smith in heading to Port Charles are Robert Curtis Brown (Raymond Berlin), Ryan Paevey as Nathan West, and William deVry as Julian Jerome.
