General Hospital Recap Tuesday May 16: Jake Has Big Plans For Nurses Ball – Valentin Snaps On Alex – Michael Rescues Nelle

Tuesday’s May 16 episode of General Hospital begins with Michael (Chad Duell) at the Metro Court telling Nina (Michelle Stafford) that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) resigned. Nina admits she hasn’t checked her voicemail. Lulu (Emme Ryan) and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) walk in. Lulu tells them that Nelle failed to pick Charlotte up at school.

Michael walks away from the table to make a call. Lulu demands to know why everyone forgot Charlotte today. Nina doesn’t have time to argue with Lulu. Lulu wants Nina to tell Valentin this is going to cost him. Nina tells her she’s not going back to Wyndmere because she’s working all night.

Griffin (Matt Cohen) leaves Anna (Finola Hughes) a voicemail, he’s making sure she’s taking care of herself. Griffin sees Charlotte sitting at the bar eating ice cream. He apologizes for getting into a fight with her Papa and promises it won’t happen again. She shows Griffin a flyer from show about a spring carnival. Griffin walks Charlotte back to Nina and Lulu. He tells them about the spring carnival and he would love to attend. Griffin leaves.

Lulu tells Charlotte to get her backpack. Lulu tells Nina that Charlotte is coming home with her tonight. They quarrel and Charlotte walks up. Nina convinces Charlotte to go stay over at Lulu’s. Lulu thanks Nina and they leave.

Liz (Rebecca Herbst) asks Aiden (Jason David) why he is so quiet. Jake (Hudson West) quickly says Aiden is missing Cameron. Liz and Franco (Roger Howarth) go to the kitchen to get milk and cookies. Jake tells Aiden he can’t tell anyone what he saw (Chimera).

It’s a secret and he’s the only one that knows what to do with it. Liz and Franco bring the milk and cookies to the boys. Aiden goes upstairs to bed. Jake tells them he wants to do a magic show solo at the nurse’s ball this year. Franco has Jake practice a magic trick. Jake does a card trick and goes upstairs to bed. Liz and Franco discuss being honest with each other. They’re kissing and Jake walks in saying he forgot the magic kit. Liz and Franco go upstairs. Jake opens the magic kit and takes the Chimera out and says he wishes he never had to think about it ever again.

Michael finds Nelle unconscious on the pier. He calls for an ambulance. Later they arrive to GH. Michael tells Griffin that Nelle only has one kidney. Griffin orders tests. Griffin is reading the rest results and tells the nurse he’s concerned about the trauma done to Nelle’s kidney.

Anna wakes up in a hospital in London. She tells the doctor giving her the injection is a mistake. The doctor tells Sister Crane that Anna is to be sedated at all times. The doctor leaves the room and Anna is telling herself to fight. Anna tries to move and Sister Crane starts to call for the doctor. Sister Crane calls Anna by Alex’s name and she was found at her flat and brought to the hospital. Anna tries to convince her she is Anna Devane and is being held against her will. The doctor walks back in and glares at Anna.

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) rips the Chimera necklace off of Alex’s (Finola Hughes) neck saying he is one step a head of her this time. (He thinks Alex is Anna). He tells her about finding the listening device in his watch. Alex admits she was spying on him. Alex tells Valentin the Chimera needs to be contained. Valentin tells her to shut up. Alex asks if he’s going to kill her or make love to her. Valentin tells her the game is over. Valentin tells Alex he has been addicted to her all these years but has a moment of clarity now. He grabs a scarf and twists it around his hands.

Later Valentin arrives to the Metro Court and thanks Nina for telling him about the listening device. He admits being with Anna. Nina is not happy. Valentin tells Nina he stopped Anna and she won’t be an issue for them any longer.
