General Hospital Spoilers Griffin Poses a Threat to Liz and Franco – Love Triangle Ahead

General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply a love triangle between Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen), Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) is on the horizons.  Could Griffin be the one who ends the ill-fated couple? 

Recently, Matt Cohen has revealed how much he loves being involved in so many stories.  He has been working with soap legends like Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) and Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), as the son of the late Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan).

He has been the priest who slept with married Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Williamson), the General Hospital surgeon saving countless beloved characters, and for a brief moment believed to be the father to Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), but he currently isn’t involved with anyone romantically. 

Griffin Munro has been a very diverse man with a lot of baggage.  He is a fairly new character that could be taken in many directions.  GH fans would love to see him have a love life, and many are rooting for him to end up with Elizabeth Webber.  Liz and Griffin have developed a genuine friendship, and really have respect for each other. 

General Hospital viewers have seen Liz go through many relationships that were not good for her, including the one she is in now.  Franco may seem like a changed man, and she has placed all her faith in him and his innocence but it is clear her trust in him is a very dangerous thing. 

Franco has been willing to go to great lengths to protect Elizabeth, even going as far as putting her rapist Tom Baker (Don Harvey) in a cage.  Liz has always tried to be a good woman and mother, but can she really continue to claim his actions were out of love?

Franco has become rather possessive of Elizabeth, making sure everyone, especially Griffin, know that they are a couple; proving his jealousy of any man around her.  Will Liz be able to deal with him being her constant shadow, or will she grow weary of his overbearing attitude?  

Griffin clearly cares for Liz, and now that he has learned Claudette is dead, she could be the very one who brings him comfort in his time of need.  Could Griffin win over her heart as she struggles with Franco and his misdeeds?
