General Hospital Spoilers Friday May 5: Alexis Visits Julian – Brad’s Scheming Exposed – Hayden To The Rescue – Sonny Threatens Ava

General Hospitals spoilers for Friday May 5 indicate that Julian Jerome (William deVry), currently still behind bars, gets a visit from his ex-wife, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). When questioned by the PCPD recently, Alexis admitted that she was not actually being held hostage by Julian as he told the police. She confessed that she was with Julian of her own free will.

There is clearly still a part of Alexis that cares about Julian very much to want to come clean and protect him. However, Julian warns Alexis during their visit that telling the truth may not be enough to set either of them free. Will Alexis continue to have a soft spot where Julian is concerned?

GH spoilers tease that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) comes to Finn’s (Michael Easton) rescue. The couple has been on shaky ground while dealing with the ups and downs of Finn’s difficult detox from Zin-Zin , but Hayden still has Finn’s back. Finn recently took a drug test that came back positive for Zin-Zin which was a surprise in light of the tremendous efforts he has been making to get clean.

Well, not so surprising when you remember that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) was the one who delivered the sample to the lab where he constantly works. Brad has always held a grudge against Finn. First for taking over the lab space while he was developing a cure for his fatal disease, and then later for selling the cure without giving Brad credit and more so money that he very strongly thinks he deserves. At General Hospital, Hayden asks Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) what if there was a test that could prove that Finn was set up.

Meanwhile, Brad gloats to Dr. Liesl Obrect (Kathleen Gati) that something big is going to hit the fan and it is all about Dr. Finn. Dr. O and Finn aren’t exactly friends, but Brad shouldn’t be celebrating quite yet.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is always trying to smooth things over between his feuding families. He is talking with his mother, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about her divorce proceedings with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and asks her if she really wants to go through with it. Carly has been feeling a little conflicted after getting advice from friends and reminders that she and Sonny both are still grieving their son’s death.  Will Carly have a change of heart?

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sonny’s divorce doesn’t mean that he is going to act any more cordial to Ava Jerome (Maura West). The two have been playing a game of tug-o-war with their daughter, Avery, since her birth. Since the news of Sonny’s divorce, Ava has been plotting on how she can use it to spend more time with Avery. Sonny threatens Ava to stay out of his divorce or she will regret it.

Sonny has threatened to take Ava’s life on multiple occasions and it has never discouraged her from going up against the rival mob boss in the past.

Will Ava heed Sonny’s warning?
