General Hospital Spoilers: Fans Thrilled With Serena Baldwin Return – Could She Stay A While?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Serena Baldwin (Carly Schroeder) could possibly be sticking around a while longer in Port Charles. Many General Hospital viewers were thrilled to see Serena back on-screen for the Tribute episode for the late Peter Hansen.

The last time viewers saw Serena on General Hospital was back when Serena was a child and now that she is in her twenties, there are so many possibilities for this character. As General Hospital fans are aware of, Serena Baldwin has been residing in Paris with her younger sister, Christina since she moved there with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and her stepdad, Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) back in 2003.

Recently, Carly Schroeder sat down with ABC Soaps In Depth and was asked if Serena Baldwin would be sticking around and their response was that “it was too soon to tell.” Of course, this is positive in one respect since it was not totally specified that Serena would only be in town for the tribute episode but it’s possible she might possibly be staying in Port Charles longer than originally anticipated.

Certainly, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) could use more family and relatives surrounding him during this difficult time and especially since he is currently facing some legal ramifications due to his illegal involvement with Ava Jerome (Maura West). Scott could use the moral support should he finally face the consequences of his actions or if his grief over Lee Baldwin’s passing finally catch up to him.  His daughter being in town, is just the medicine he might just need.

Of course, Scott is not the only family member or relative that she has ties to, let’s not forget Kevin Collins. No doubt, Kevin will be thrilled to see Serena and catch up with her after all this time she has been in Paris. Many other characters on the show could also be a possibility, let’s not forget Serena is also Michael’s (Chad Duell) age and should his current romance with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) end due to his mother’s incessant meddling, Serena could be a great possibility for him in the near future or possibly even a potential love triangle as many on social media have already insisted.

With all the ties this character has in Port Charles, anything is certainly possible. Should Carly Schoeder’s status on GH become more promising, we will certainly keep you updated here at Soap Opera Spy.
