Thursday is the traditional day for throwbacks, and that seems to hold true for “General Hospital” on August 24, 2017. It’s going to be another bummer in the summer day for Jason (Billy Miller) in the fictional land of Port Charles, courtesy of Carly (Laura Wright).
Warning: Carly Is Mad
Here’s the problem when it comes to Carly: The more she learns, the more she fumes. So far, Carly has discovered that Sam (Kelly Monaco) didn’t just shoot Sonny (Maurice Benard). Sam took it one step further (literally) but kicking him in the ditch.
Moreover, Carly keeps trying to find someone to trust, and then gets tricked again with more lies. And that includes Jason, who seems to have played a part in holding onto secrets. While Carly definitely understands that Sam isn’t exactly the most welcome guest right now, she doesn’t understand why she hasn’t been in on all those secrets from the beginning.
And Then There’s Sam
Sam faces a future that looks dismal. While some might think she doesn’t deserve friendships at this point, Sam has no idea what could happen to her next, and that kind of uncertainty is never easy to handle. And of course it’s not just Sam who is paying a price for what happened.

General Hospital’s Twitter feed offered a clue to the drama today.
“TODAY ON #GH… Carly lets Sonny and Jason have it. Plus, Finn grapples with Hayden’s absence and Valentin’s got a surprise for Nina!”
What does that mean? Carly just might send both Sonny and Jason to the dog house after they caused her to bark up the wrong tree (lies never pay off, folks).
Welcome Back Ryan Paevey
General Hospital fans will have a reason to cheer with the return of Ryan. The beloved actor is at work once more taking on the role of Port Charles police detective Nathan West.
Paevey, 32, has earned fame for his alter ego Nathan since 2013, when he became the focus of Kirsten Storms’ Maxie Jones. Ryan tweeted news about his General Hospital return, telling fans that he returned a week and a half ago and already filmed more than 100 pages of the soap opera.
