Friday’s Show Foreshadowed Upcoming Week

“General Hospital” on Friday, August 25, offered some clues to what will happen this week. Griffin leaped to defend Ava, while despite her best efforts, Nina found that her plans turned into a variation on “Girl, Interrupted.”

With Ned crafting a deal with Michael, and the judge finally achieving a verdict in Julian’s trial, fans were looking for some romance to lighten the mood. And that happened when Kiki and Dillon re-evaluated their relationship.

Ava And Griffin: You Go, Girl!

Don’t underestimate Ava. Griffin definitely doesn’t after she flaunted her spunky spirit with the reporter. And when the two return to her apartment, it’s time for thinking about what could be as well as what’s not quite right.

To outsiders, Port Charles might seem like a safe and secure world. But as “General Hospital” viewers know after watching Sonny, it’s a land where the mob has infiltrated.

Now Sonny faces the challenge of exiting the mob without ending up like Julian. Can Jason help him, or will Sonny face Julian’s seemingly scary future in jail?

Carly’s Delight And Maxie’s Misery

While Sonny is shocked about Julian’s future, Carly has a dramatically different reaction. She’s delighted. But when it comes to emotions on “General Hospital,” Carly might be the only one feeling upbeat.

Take a moment to feel sorry for Maxie, who is miserable about Nathan’s and Amy’s relationship. When she discovers Amy and Nathan deep in conversation, she feels like Jennifer Aniston probably did when she found out that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had fallen in love.
