General Hospital Spoilers: Anna’s On Mission To Expose Valentin – Will Griffin Have Her Back This Time?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) has become Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) support person; her strength, like his father was years before.

Griffin has stood by Anna pretty much from the beginning, and her love for Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan), Griffin’s deceased father, has quickly caused them to bond in an incredibly special way. She has taken him in as her stepson, and loves him as much as she loves her daughter, Dr. Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough).

General Hospital’s Anna and Griffin have already had their share of adventures, which long time viewers can appreciate somewhat as a tribute to the 1980s, when Anna was an active WSB super spy and constantly on adventures; or searching the world for the evil guys.

First, Griffin learns that Anna has a rare form of blood cancer called polycythemia vera (PV); although it is treatable he needs re-enforcements, and calls for Robin to come see her mother and encourage her to do the treatment.

As they treat Anna in General Hospital, Liv Jerome (Tonja Walker) is revealed to be in Port Charles set on revenge, including torturing and killing her nemesis, Anna.

It didn’t take long for Liv to learn that Duke, the man she was dangerously obsessed with, had a biological son. She meets Griffin and attempts a ritual to remove Griffin’s soul from his body so Duke might return to her. Clearly, the ritual failed, and the good doctor is back at Anna’s side, as Liv is carted off to jail and then a psychiatric facility.

Just when you think Anna would focus on her health, she remains determined to unlock her missing memories of her time with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) at the WSB Academy so many years ago. She has bits and pieces of their past flashing in her mind, and you can see in Valentin’s eyes that he is just wishing for her to remember too.

Could this be her new adventure with Griffin; is he up for another adventure, especially one against such a deranged family as the Cassadines?
