General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Reveals Cassandra’s Deadly Plan, Anna Shocked – Finn Offers To Sacrifice Himself

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that superspy Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) feels she may have gotten in over her head when it comes to dealing with Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck). She initially blackmailed Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) into helping her get the goods on the stranger, feeling she would have a connection to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), when she discovered the diamond young Prince Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) had left her granddaughter, Emma Scorpio Drake (Brooklyn Silzer).

In the recent General Hospital promo Anna receives a phone call from Valentin informing her that things are worst that they thought, it seems his boss, Cassandra is in the middle of producing a synthetic opiate that will dominate the market, once released. The opiate will be more addictive and much cheaper to purchase that what is currently on the market. Anna is very distraught at the news, she knows how destructive opiates and is afraid many people will die.

GH sources reveal that after some pushing, Anna reveals to Finn what Cassandra is up to, and that she is virtually, one step away from production of the new opiate – she just needs someone who can perfect the formula. Fans of the ABC soap opera know that Hamilton Finn is a genius when it comes to working in the laboratory; remember he found the cure for Blackwood’s syndrome! Not only that, but he has also built a good rapport with Cassandra, bringing her to the United States and working with her on her with her medical conditions.

General Hospital spoilers show Anna desperately wanting to shut down Cassandra and her operation before the drugs can hit the streets of Port Charles. Finn listens as Anna passionately explains her view, he pauses for a moment, as we all know he struggled with his own sobriety and just recently saw Amy Driscoll’s (Risa Dorken) brother, Chet (Chris van Etten) almost die from an overdose. Finn tells Anna maybe there is another way to stop Cassandra before she claims a single victim, by giving her exactly what she wants. Will Finn sacrifice himself for the greater good, and will Anna let him?
