General Hospital Recap Wednesday May 10: More Chimera Details Revealed – Valerie And Andre Bond – Jake Receives Package From Helena

General Hospital’s Wednesday May 10 episode kicks off with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) telling Anna (Finola Hughes) he sold the Chimera for a massive amount of money and the buyer is dead. The Chimera Project will never see the light of day. He flashes back to selling the thermos with the Chimera engraving to Helena (Constance Towers). He refuses to tell her the name of the buyer. If the Chimera was out there he would find it and destroy it.

Valentin wonders if he ever really knew the real Anna. Anna stands up to leave and says she’ll give Valentin more space. He pulls her back down and suggests they get to know each other. Andre (Anthony Montgomery) appears and apologizes for interrupting. Valentin leaves. Andre wonders how close Anna is going to get with Valentin. Andre confronts Anna about missing her appointments.

Anna insists she’s getting procedures done elsewhere and doesn’t need his help. Andre won’t sit by while Anna takes her life in her own hands. Like it or not she’s stuck with him. Andre leaves. Anna on the phone saying she’s making progress and can’t wait for this project to be done.

Curtis (Donnell Turner) lost a bet with Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) while bowling and has to drink from his shoe. As he starts to drink Jordan stops him. Curtis sees Andre sitting at the bar watching them. Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) walks in and sits beside Andre. Valerie sees Jordan and Curtis and mentions it to Andre. Andre says let them talk. Valerie enjoys teasing Jordan and Curtis. Valerie mentions Jordan being her boss. Andre suggests if she doesn’t like the situation then get out. Andre leaves. Valerie says she just might do that.

Jordan walks to bar to get drinks while Curtis takes a call. Jordan asks Valerie if she and Andre are dating. Valerie asks “why, are you going to warn me off of him too”? Jordan didn’t mean for things to turn out like this. Valerie was almost fired for dating Curtis. Valerie hopes Curtis doesn’t cost Jordan her career like he almost did to her. Valerie leaves. Curtis walks up and asks Jordan what happened. Jordan lies and says they were just talking shop. Curtis suggests they take a walk. Jordan declines and suggests a rain check. She thanks him for bowling and drinks and leaves.

Jake (Hudson West) is shaking his wrapped presents. Jake feels he’s being punished by delaying his birthday party because Jason (Billy Miller) went out of town. Kiki (Hayley Erin) arrives with a present for Jake from Franco. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) mentions getting a text from Franco, he’s on a mysterious errand.

Liz gets a delivery for Jake. The delivery man is Helena’s henchman. Liz tells Jake he received a package from Spencer for his birthday. Jake opens it to find a magic set. He finds a piece of paper with “Secret for your eyes only” written on it. The inside has “look underneath, you’ll recognize it”. Jake sees the Chimera on the thermos that Valentin sold to Helena.
