‘General Hospital’ Recap Wednesday March 1: CarSon Compares Nelle Notes – Sam & Baby Rescued – Alexis Plays Hero

General Hospital begins the March 1 episode with Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco (Roger Horwarth) in bed. Franco thanks Liz for taking the boys to Audrey’s. Monica (Leslie Charleson) calls interrupting their fun. GH is saved and Liz is needed to work the Emergency Room.

Franco tags along to ask when he returns to the work force. Once they arrive to GH Monica updates Liz on Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) saving the hospital.

Franco inquires about returning to his job, but Monica explains its budget cuts. He’s welcome to apply for any other job opening. Later Franco finds a janitor position open and tells Liz he’s going to apply for it.

Nelle Hayes & Michael Corinthos

Nelle(Chloe Lanier) walks up to Michael (Chad Duell) in the hallway at GH. She needs to talk to him. Monica interrupts thanking Michael for all his help saving the hospital. Monica leaves. Nelle tells Michael she has a sick friend in Atlanta and needs to leave town right now.

Michael says that’s fine, he’ll get the family jet and they’ll fly down together. Later Michael runs into Monica and explains he’ll be leaving town for couple days to help Nelle’s friend. Nelle asks to use his phone claiming her battery is dead. Nelle says to herself she just needs time alone with Michael to make him understand everything.

Alexis Davis

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) arrives to Jordan’s (Vinessa Antoine) office interrupting Curtis (Donnell Turner) as he’s trying to explain Olivia Jerome is alive. Alexis says Sam is missing, no one has heard from her in 24 hours. Liv put Sam’s phone in my purse. Curtis tries to fill in the blanks for Jordan. Jordan is caught up to speed and says we need to find Liv right away. Alexis’ phone call to Liv lasts long enough for Jordan to get a location. Jordan orders Alexis and Curtis to stay in her office as she and another office rush off to find Liv.

Olivia Jerome

Julian (William DeVry) is still handcuffed to the register in Liv’s (Tonya Walker) room. She informs him the GH Board voted not to sell to the developers. He says she can own something else if she wants. He’ll even help her find that special building. Liv explains it’s not the real estate she wants. It’s what “lies beneath it”. Liv tells Julian this is strike 3 and he is out as she points a knife in his face.

Alexis is calling Liv trying to get her on the phone so Jordan can trace the call. Liv finally answers the phone and listens to Alexis go on how she’s frantic about not being able to find Sam, she’s standing in front of a liquor store and needs encouragement. Liv tells her to find a meeting and call her later and hangs up. Liv tells Julian that Alexis is on to them because there was no sound of traffic in the background. Later the officer and Jordan break open the door to Liv’s apartment. No one is there. Only the handcuffs lay next to the register.

Jason & Sam Morgan

Jason (Billy Miller) is holding Scout as he sits on the ground beside Sam (Kelly Monaco). Jason keeps saying to Sam to wake up. Scout cries off and on. Sam wakes up and sits up beside Jason as he’s holding Scout. Sam tells Jason to leave her there and go get help. Jason refuses to leave her side. Sam has blood covering her hands. She complains of feeling so weak. Jason instructs Sam to hold Scout so he can carry her out of there. Jason finally makes it to the footbridge carrying Sam. He tells Sam to hang on the ambulance is almost there. Sam passes out. Sam arrives to GH wearing oxygen mask on the cart holding Scout in her arms. Jason reassures her. The medical staff rushes Sam off to a room. Jason wants to follow but Franco steps in and pushes Jason back.

Sonny & Carly Corinthos

Carly (Laura Wright) confronts Sonny (Maurice Benard)  in Nelle’s apartment. Sonny admits he slept with Nelle but it only happened once. He doesn’t even remember it. “It’s as if I blacked out”. Carly plays the audio tape for Sonny. Sonny says “That bitch set me up”! Carly mentions the flowers Nelle received with the initial “S” on it. Sonny says you’ve known me for years. You know that is something I would just never do. “Nelle is playing both of us Carly”! Sonny continues to try to explain they just lost Morgan, he thought she was seeing Jax. “So you had a weak moment Sonny”?

Sonny goes on to tell Carly about Nelle planting the bra in his bed. He confronted her later and he thinks that’s why she decided to use the audio tape now. Carly finally starts to believe Sonny. Carly still hurt and accuses Sonny of trying to spare himself instead of trying to stop “that little slut”. “You lied Sonny! You let me believe in a future we are never going to have”! Don’t touch me”! Carly opens the door to leave as Nelle and Michael are standing in doorway.
