General Hospital Recap Wednesday April 26: Anna Romances Valentin – Nina Has Risky Mission For Nelle – Sonny Closer To Truth About Morgan’s Death

Wednesday’s April 26 episode of General Hospital begins with Ava (Maura West) and Kiki (Hayley Erin) at The Floating Rib. Ava is proud of Kiki studying to be a nurse’s aid. Kiki wants to help people with the same illness take took Morgan’s life. Ava suggests she bring Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) next time and asks if they’re singing a duet at Nurses Ball again this year. Kiki notices Ava is happy. Ava mentions being a donor for the Nurses Ball.

Griffin (Matt Cohen) asks Andre (Anthony Montgomery) if he knew Anna (Finola Hughes) was getting her treatment in a private facility. Griffin wonders if Anna is hiding something.

Lucy (Lynn Herring) walks in the office interrupting them about performing at the nurse’s ball. Andre says he’s busy and has another appointment as he ushers Lucy and Griffin out of the office. Griffin tells Lucy he’s not doing the Magic Milo again this year and leaves.

Ava and Kiki finish their dinner. Kiki starts to leave. as Griffin walks in. They chat briefly and Kiki leaves. Ava tells Griffin she didn’t realize he was a Priest.

Ava mentions he’s probably heard horrible but true things about her past but maybe redemption is possible. Ava offers to buy him a drink. They sit at the bar and start chatting.

Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) approaches Sonny (Maurice Benard) at the hospital. Sonny is holding Morgan’s Lithium pill bottle in his hand. Bobbie tells Sonny that Carly (Laura Wright) is on the war path and he only has himself to blame. Bobbie suggests Sonny and Carly stop punishing each other.

Sonny feels he and Carly haven’t put all the pieces together after Morgan’s death. Sonny starts to ask her about Morgan’s pills and Lucy walks up. Lucy starts rambling about Sonny attending Nurses Ball but stops when she sees the pill bottle. Lucy suggests Sonny not attend Nurses Ball this year. Sonny says Stone is Morgan’s middle name and he’ll be there. Sonny leaves.

Bobbie tells Lucy that Sonny is not giving up on Morgan’s pill mystery. Lucy asks what Sonny is going to do. Bobbie asks isn’t it enough he lost his son. Lucy says she feels badly and wants to help. Bobbie asks if she has a magic wand. Lucy starts to tell Bobbie but Kiki walks up. Kiki mentions Ava donating funds to the Nurses Ball. Lucy decides not to confess after all.

Carly walks in the Quartermaine house as Michael (Chad Duell) finishes a phone call. Carly brought him beer and food as Joss (Eden McCoy) suggested. Carly tells Michael about Jax leaving and its Sonny’s fault. Carly feels she underestimated Sonny. Michael tells her getting back at Sonny is the last thing she should be doing. Carly vows she won’t do anything that Sonny doesn’t deserve. Carly mentions she almost left with Jax. Michael tells Carly she doesn’t need to spiral out of control just because Sonny is. Michael mentions Nelle (Chloe Lanier). Carly tells Michael how she use to be like Nelle when she was younger. Nelle will only hurt Michael. Michael makes his own decisions. He thanks Carly for the food and she leaves.

Anna tells Valentin he saved her life by taking her to the hospital that day. Anna says at times she pretends she doesn’t have the blood cancer. Valentin reminds Anna she has plenty of family and friends to help her get through the treatment. Anna tells Valentin how he endured all those operations so outside would look like his inside. “Tall, straight and strong”. Valentin starts to leave but Anna talks him in to staying for a drink. She leaves the room to get the champagne.

Valentin gets a call from Nina. Nina wants to meet up. Valentin says his errand is taking longer than expected and he’ll see her later at home. Anna walks in and pops the champagne open. Nina (Michelle Stafford) asks what that noise was. Valentin pretends they have a bad connection and hangs up. Anna and Valentin do a toast. Valentin tells her goodnight and starts to leave. Anna holds up the watch and reminds him he forgot it. Anna places the watch back on his wrist saying how nice it looks on him. He leaves and outside takes a huge deep breathe. Anna is inside smiling and drinking.

Sonny arrives to Andre’s office and asks several questions about Morgan’s pills. Sonny dumps the pills on the desk. He needs to know why Morgan went so out of control. They discuss possibilities. As Sonny is leaving Andre’s office he says he’ll take the Lithium pills to an independent lab for analysis. Kiki over hears the conversation and says “Morgan’s pills” and leaves.

Nina tells Nelle she wants her to spy on Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Nelle suggests Nina just talk honestly to him and don’t do something she’ll regret later. Nina tends to agree and suggests they do a girls night out. Later they arrive at the Metro Court as Carly walks in. Carly tells Nina about Nelle drugging Sonny. Carly warns Nina proceed with caution when it comes to Nelle. Carly leaves. Nelle understands if Nina wants to fire her. Nina whispers in Nelle’s ear “I want you to spy on Valentin for me. Knowing my husband you better be damn good at it”.
