General Hospital RECAP Wednesday April 12: Griffin’s Startling Discovery – Nina Hits Anna – Valentin Hires Mystery Man

Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital begins with Dr. Griffin Munroe (Matt Coen) jogging and he stops at the pier to call Anna (Finola Hughes). Griffin leaves her a voicemail reminding her to get blood work done. Griffin starts to leave and sees a man laying on the pier. He tries to wake him up and realizes its Dr. Hamilton Finn.

Hayden sees Curtis (Donnell Turner) outside at Perks and tells him Finn is missing. Curtis agrees to go search for Finn. Hayden is sorry for her behavior last night and no more “jumping his bones”. She’ll leave that to Jordan (Vinessa Antoine). Jordan walks up and hears the conversation. Hayden tries to explain what happened and leaves for work.

Curtis tries to further explain but Jordan says we aren’t exclusive. They kiss and Andre walks past them. Curtis leaves to do something for Hayden. Jordan approaches Andre and says she wouldn’t blame him for feeling angry. Andre tells her not to feel bad for wanting what you want.

A few minutes later Curtis arrives back to walk Jordan to work and discuss the date she owes him. Brad (Parry Shen) tells Andre (Anthony Montgomery) he has been saving money for a down payment on a condo for him and Lucas.

Finn wakes up in the hospital. Griffin gives Finn an exam and everything seems to be okay. Finn prefers not to explain his bloody lip and face. Griffin suggests calling PCPD and leaves the room.

Hayden arrives to the hospital and steps off the elevator. Griffin tells her was getting ready to call her about Finn. Hayden walks in Finn’s room as he’s trying to get out of bed. Griffin walks in and says the drug tests came back clean. Finn tried to purchase drugs and changed his mind. He wanted a refund but the dealer wasn’t interested. He thought about Hayden and hopes she’s there at the end of this long recovery road. Finn admits he’s an addict and needs to tell Monica. Later Brad mentions to Monica his yearly raise. Monica reminds him of budget cuts. Monica mentions Hayden is the Financial Officer for GH. Brad tells Monica there is something she needs to know about Finn.

Valentin (James Patrick Stewart) is reading a note from Anna saying she doesn’t want to be enemies any longer. Hopefully time heals all wounds. He’s holding a watch in his hand. Nina (Michelle Stafford) walks in to ask Valentin to zip her dress. He hides the note and watch behind his back. Nina asks if he has a present for her. He says no and you’re going to be disappointed and shows her the note from Anna.

Valentin explains Anna was there yesterday while she was at work. Valentin mentions Anna seems remorseful and different. Nina turns around for Valentin to zip her dress. He slides the watch in his pocket. Nina is nervous about Charlotte’s first visit with Lulu today but has to leave for work.

Laura (Genie Frances) stops by Anna’s place to discuss Valentin. Laura updates Anna on Lulu (Emme Ryan) seeing Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) today for her first supervised visit. Laura is worried Lulu will do something to jeopardize getting full custody. Laura needs a need strategy dealing with Valentin. Anna says she’s can’t help her. Laura reminds Anna she agreed Valentin was evil. Anna explains about going to WSB Specialist and having memories restored. Anna has to make things right with Valentin. Laura reminds her that he is a cold bloodied killer. Anna says her involvement with Laura’s war is over. Laura leaves.

Nina arrives to Anna’s and reminds her about their conversation she would leave Valentin alone. Anna remembers it well. Nina punches Anna. Anna pins Nina’s head down on the desk. Anna releases Nina after she promised no more hitting. Nina shows Anna the note and says: “Admit you want my husband”. Anna just wants to end the feud. Nina says no more notes and leaves. Anna laughs after closing the door.

Valentin makes a call and tells someone he has a job for him to do. Valentin meets him on the pier and asks him to inspect the watch. The gentleman walks away as Laura approaches. Laura and Valentin throw jabs back and forth about Lulu’s parenting skills. Laura tells him; her memory is good so he can’t prey on her like he did to Anna. Laura goes on to verbally attack him saying once his loved ones realizes he’s weak they will abandon him. Valentin stutters and tells her to leave him alone. Laura threatens she’ll be back. The gentleman returns and hands Valentin the watch saying his wife has exquisite taste.

Laura calls Lulu and says good news is Valentin isn’t as strong as he claims. The bad news is Anna isn’t helping them any longer. Andre calls Anna, but she ignores the call. He leaves a voicemail saying he needs a friend right now. Anna puts ear buds in and flashes back to putting a listening device in the watch she gave Valentin. Valentin smiles as he puts the watch on his wrist. Nina walks in. Anna starts listening to their conversation.

Tracy (Jane Elliott) tells Monica (Leslie Charleson) she has acquired the perfect piece to hang above the fireplace. Monica leaves and Ned (Wally Kurth) walks in and tells Tracy he and Olivia (Lisa LiCicero) are engaged. Tracy is glad he’s happy and hugs him. Ned is surprised in the difference in his Mother. Tracy says she’s found peace with Edward and shows Ned the letter. Ned and Tracy discuss the pros and cons of Edward. Tracy says Edward loved her. Ned said she doesn’t need the letter to feel that way. Ned tells Tracy how much he loves her. Both start crying and hug.
