General Hospital Recap Tuesday May 9: Maxie Refuses To Come Home – Jason’s The Scarecrow – Valentin Shares Info On Chimera Project

General Hospital’s Tuesday May 9 episode kicks off with Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) at the Metro Court. Nina has made a decision about Maxie (Kirsten Storms). Lulu (Emme Ryan) interrupts the conversation as she needs to ask for a favor. Lulu wants to take Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) to an event and spend the night with her. Nina immediately says no and a shouting match ensues. Laura (Genie Francis and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) walk up to Lulu and tell her their table is ready.

Nina tells Nathan that Lulu is not taking Charlotte and ruining her little family. Nina tells Nathan she will email Maxie offering her job back to her. Nina feels Maxie will be home very soon. Nina gets a text from Maxie turning the job offer down. Maxie isn’t sure if or when she is returning to Port Charles.

Lulu tells Laura and Kevin that Nina can say whatever she wants because she’s not the one fighting for custody. Lulu is going to play nice with the Cassadine’s until she gets full custody. One day Charlotte will see Valentin as the monster he is. Lulu gets a text she has to leave. Kevin questions Laura about being so uneasy. Laura doesn’t trust Valentin as he killed her son and fears he will do the same to Lulu.

Anna (Finola Hughes) stops Valentin (James Patrick Stewart) at the park. Anna wants to discuss the Chimera Project. She wants to know who he sold the project to. Valentin doesn’t want to discuss it. Anna reminds him it had potential to do so much harm. He admits to selling the Chimera Project to have the money needed for his surgeries. He tells Anna not to worry. The person that bought it is dead and it will never see the light of day.

Jason (Billy Miller) on the phone saying he’s stranded. He can’t get a boat to Cassadine Island. Franco (Roger Howarth) walks up and says he has a boat. They leave together. They arrive to CI and Jason finds the scarecrow. Franco points to the tree in the drawing. Jason walks to the wall near the scarecrow and has a flashback. Jason says he is the scarecrow.

Carly (Laura Wright) tells Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) about Martina (Daya Vaidya) being her lawyer. Carly’s going to take everything Sonny has. Carly updates Bobbie on Morgan’s meds and the lab results. Bobbie wonders if they’d still be married if Morgan was still alive. Carly says doesn’t matter because Morgan is dead and she has to deal with who Sonny really is.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) tells Martina she has a problem and he has the solution. Sonny tells Martina that Ava (Maura West) saw them at the Haunted Star. He explains if Ava tells Carly about them; Carly will ask to see security footage. Sonny would rather work with the devil he knows. Sonny wants to keep his assets and Martina needs to convince Carly. Martina leaves.

Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) arrives to see Sonny. She tells Sonny about Amy (Risa Dorken) being her roommate and helping with the nurse’s ball this year. Kristina knows Carly is trying to take all his assets making him cash poor. She’s going to work at Perks this summer to save money to go back to school. She mentions asking Michael for assistance. Sonny tells her no, the divorce will go smoothly. He has a good feeling divorce will settle soon.

Martina arrives back to talk to Carly. Bobbie leaves to do work for the nurse’s ball. Martina tells Carly they should at least consider Diane’s (Carolyn Hennesy) offer regarding the divorce. Carly asks why the sudden change. Martina advises Carly to comprise and take Diane’s offer. Carly refuses to accept the offer.
