General Hospital Recap Tuesday March 7: Anna and Liv’s Deadly Face Off – Charlotte’s Fate Is In Nina’s Hands

Tuesday March 7 episode of General Hospital begins with Diane (Carolyn Hennessy) telling Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Emme Ryan) to sit back, relax and watch Nina (Michelle Stafford) hurt Valentin’s (James Patrick Stewart) custody case in court. They arrive to the court room as Diane tells them the social worker gave them wonderful review on her home review. Lulu tells Dante she knows Charlotte will have a great life with them, especially having him as her step father Diane tells Lulu to remain focused in this hearing.

Laura (Genie Francis) arrives to Nina’s office with a plan she has to both of them to get what they want regarding Charlotte. Laura mentions Nina’s marriage having some difficulties. Nina realizes immediately Maxie told Lulu. Nina asks Laura to leave. Laura says she has quite a bit of knowledge on the Cassidine’s.

Nina may wake up one day and realize Valentin doesn’t need her any longer and will keep her from every seeing Charlotte. Nina asks what she has to do for Laura to guarantee being able to see Charlotte if Lulu gets custody.

Laura wants Nina to tell the judge her marriage is a sham. Nina doesn’t feel it’s a sham and accuses Laura of playing with her mind. Laura admits she is playing with her mind because she’s trying to protect her own daughter. Laura continues saying you can lie or tell the truth. “I hope for Charlotte’s sake we see you in court today”.

Nora and Valentin

Nora (Hillary B. Smith) asks Valentin is it’s possible for he and Nina to put aside their issues long enough to help secure him getting full custody of Charlotte. Valentin admits Nina is uneasy about certain parts of his past. He told Nina not to show up if she’s not in this for the long haul. Nora isn’t certain that was the best advice. Nora thinks she can sway the judge singing Nina’s professional praises and her love for Charlotte. Nora advises Valentin that Diane is a master at submitting a rumor as a fact in court, do not take the bait. Judge Rawles arrives and court is now in session.

Lulu Falconeri

Lulu gives an opening statement how when finding out Charlotte was her daughter she was shocked, grieved but felt the intense love only a Mother has for her daughter. She felt the bond and will fight with her last dying breathe to be a good mother to Charlotte. She only asks for that opportunity be granted.

Valentin addressing the judge next saying when he learned of the embryo he secured a surrogate and has been the constant in Charlotte’s life. Lulu only sees her as a procession. Charlotte’s needs are far more important than mine or Lulu’s needs. After he finishes Diane informs the Judge she has the home review from the Social Worker. Judge announces a recess so she can read that report and the ones from Nora.

Lulu informs Diane she is scared. Diane says Valentin has the judge eating out of his hands right now. The court room door opens and Nina walks in. Both sides smile.

Julian and Anna

Julian (William DeVry) is conscious long enough to tell Anna that Liv Jerome (Tonya Walker) wants the hospital. Jordan (Vinessa Antoine), Dr, Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) and Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) walk in Julian’s room. Anna tells them that Liv is in the hospital. Julian wakes up again to inform them that Liv wants what’s underneath the hospital. Julian falls unconscious.

Anna says she’s going after Liv. Andre reminds her she’s not medically strong enough to be a super spy right now. If Liv hurts Anna she’ll bleed out. Jordan tells Anna the PCPD will apprehend Liv. Anna exits the room and leaves Robin another voicemail message.

Anna informs Alexis and Lucas that Liv attacked Julian. Lucas informs Anna that Tony was blackmailed years ago into working in Cassidine Lab in the bottom of the hospital. Alexis and Lucas rush to Julian’s room. Anna realizes Liv wants Helena’s lab.

Andre informs Jordan that Liv was in Ferncliff after her dead brother tried to kill her. She woke up from a coma with the mind of a 7 year old; a response of emotional trauma that latches into a fantasy world.

Lucas arrives to see Alexis telling Julian she is going home to find the safety deposit key and throw it in the trash. Jordan walks in and Lucas tells her he saw Anna with a gun heading to the basement. Julian says Liv has Anna in the basement.

Griffin and Liv Jerome

Dr. Griffin Munroe (Matt Cohen) wakes up tied to a bed with Liv standing over him. He says “You’re her, aren’t you”? Liv replies she is and she is the person he is going to spend the rest of his life with. Liv explains they’re in the old Cassidine Lab underneath the hospital. Griffin yells for Robin. Liv says she’s fine. She says how much Griffin looks like his Daddy and asks if he ever mentioned her to him. Giffin never met Duke and only knew of his love for Anna. Liv screams and tells him never mention her name again. Liv says it must be hard to work here at GH where your Father’s soul is locked in these walls. Duke cried for justice but his killer walks free. D

uke won’t be free in this mortal coil unless Griffin helps him get a new life. Liv thinks Griffin is the vessel to bring Duke back to life. Liv lights a candle and tells Griffin when the flame goes out Duke will be alive. Liv wants Griff to drink some magic potion. He refuses so she puts a funnel in his mouth. “We need to take your soul, cleanse it so Duke’s soul can return”. Griffin swallows the liquid. Liv cuts his chest and drops the blood into the flame of the candle.

Anna and Liv

Anna arrives to basement with a gun and flashlight. She’s able to find the secret door and enters the lab. Liv is standing over unconscious Griffin and hear footsteps. She thinks its Duke but surprised to see its Anna. Liv rushes to Griffin and puts the knife against his throat. She tells Anna she is housing Duke’s spirit in Griffin’s body. Anna begs Liv not to hurt him. Liv tells her to put the gun down.

Anna puts the gun on the floor and kicks it to Liv. Anna jumps up and tries to get the knife from Liv. A shoving match ensues. The knife lands on the floor but Liv is able to retrieve it. She moving it back and forth and manages to slice Anna’s hand open. Liv says you’re bleeding and slaps Anna across the face. Anna falls backwards hitting into the old lab machines. Liv is holding the knife standing over Anna as Griffin affectionately touches her shoulder. Wednesday, Liv is holding the gun telling Griffin she has to kill Anna.
