General Hospital Recap Monday May 22: Helena Haunts Jason – CarSon Showdown – Anna Tries To Clear Up Alex Confusion

Monday’s May 22 episode of General Hospital begins with Carly (Laura Wright) walking in Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) bedroom to find her and Martina (Daya Vaidya) in bed. Sonny follows Carly downstairs. Carly throws a glass. Carly confronts Sonny about seeing Ava at the park with Avery. Carly realized Ava has leverage on Sonny and figured it out.

Martina tells Carly she is no longer her lawyer and what happens between them is none of her business. Sonny explains he didn’t know Martina was her lawyer. Carly asks why they didn’t say anything at that first meeting. Martina tells Carly she’s really upset that she’s the woman that use to be in her bed. Carly confronts Martina about the real reason why she resigned. Carly says she’s calling the bar association.

The kidney saved Joss’s (Eden McCoy) life and that’s the reason she’s not angry with Jax (Ingo Rademacher). Martina walks back in and reminds Carly that Sonny is a great father. Carly isn’t compromising and is going to keep all of Sonny’s assets. Carly leaves. Sonny reassures Martina that Carly is mad at him not her. Martina says Carly is still in love with Sonny and she play odds he’s still in love with Carly.

Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) and Kiki (Hayley Erin) are practicing for the Nurses Ball and stop for a break. Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Felix (Marc Samuel) are watching. Lucy suggests they stop taking breaks and just dance. Felix gives Kiki dancing tips. Ava (Maura West) walks in clapping her hands saying it’s perfect and she wouldn’t change a thing. Kiki had texted Ava so she could tell her in person she passed her nurses aid certification. Ava tells her about having Avery today. Dillon walks away.

Ava tells Kiki how much she likes Dillon. Ava says Kiki’s future is brighter. Kiki asks her why she doesn’t mention the fact Morgan (Bryan Craig) is dead. Ava doesn’t want the past to hurt the future. What she did in the past she did it for Kiki’s well being. Dillon walks back in and Ava leaves. Kiki doesn’t know what Ava really wanted. Dillon gives Kiki a spa gift card for passing her exam. Felix tells Kiki she has to work at the hospital at the Nurses Ball tomorrow night. Lucy stops Ava on her way out. Lucy reminds Ava she’s the only friend that saved her from Sonny. Ava brags fate is now on her side.

Jason (Billy Miller) tells Sam (Kelly Monaco) he is glad Jake (Hudson West) is going better but he is done with Helena’s book. Tonight is about them only. Jason brought beverages and food for them. Jason tells Sam about Jake doing a magic trick tomorrow night at the Nurses Ball. Jason gives Sam a vintage jacket she’s been wanting. Scout wakes up and Jason goes upstairs to check on her. Jason comes back downstairs and sees Sam wearing just the jacket. They go upstairs. Later Jason has a nightmare Helena (Constance Towers) was in his house and he asked where his wife and children are. Jason wakes up very upset. He says the dream was very real. Sam reassures Jason.

Alex (Finola Hughes) tells Anna (Finola Hughes) to take the Chimera necklace and go see Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and find out who he sold the Chimera project to. Its toxin and a lot of people could die. Anna says Alex isn’t trying to save the world she’s trying to save her own skin. Alex begs Anna and admits she was young and wrong. Alex’s old associate at DVX wants the Chimera Project. Alex tells Anna she can’t follow protocol and return this to the WSB. Anna must destroy it. Nathan (Ryan Paevey) brings in 2 agents from the WSB. They arrest Alex. As they leave the room Alex tells Anna she has to stop what she put in motion.

Valentin is leaving Nina (Michelle Stafford) a voicemail as she walks in the room. Valentin has so much he has to say. Nina only wants the paperwork. She hands Valentin her keys and says it will save him time making them for Anna. Valentin takes the keys but won’t be giving them to Anna. Valentin insists he loves Nina. Nina says he doesn’t love her and Charlotte enough to choose them. Valentin doesn’t blame Nina for doubting him but he needs a chance to prove his trust. He asks her to stay tonight.

Valentin leaves the room to get Charlotte. Anna walks in and says she picked the lock. It’s urgent she talk to Valentin. Nina calls Anna a lying bitch that used Valentin. Anna tries to explain it wasn’t her. Nina says she shouldn’t be so hard on Valentin for believing Anna’s lies and leaves. Valentin walks in and is angry Anna is there. He says he should have killed her. Anna insists she’s never betrayed him. It was her twin sister Alex. Anna explains the DVX recruited Alex to do things Anna wouldn’t. Like seduce an innocent man and turn him into a traitor.

Alex needed the classified info; she put the kill on him. Anna hates Alex for what she did to Valentin. Valentin doesn’t believe one word of it. Valentin tells Anna the buyer is dead and it’s not his problem. Anna says the Valentin I called my friend would take responsibility for this and would do what it takes to stop it. Anna leaves.

Alex tells Nathan about Anna being at Valentin’s. Nathan explains to Nina about Alex impersonating Anna for the last two months. Nina tells Nathan she just left Valentin over Alex and not over Anna.
