General Hospital Recap Monday April 24: Jason Pieces Together Jake’s Past – Julian Shuts Down Olivia And Ned – Carly And Jax Say Goodbye

Monday April 24 episode of General Hospital begins with Julian (William deVry) being escorted to his jail cell at PCPD. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) asks him to wait. Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) orders the guard to take Julian to his cell. Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) arrives. The three go in the interrogation room to get Alexis statement.

Alexis admits Julian didn’t kidnap her. Diane asks to speak with Alexis alone but Jordan refuses. Jordan wonders what else Alexis isn’t telling her. Taking one hour to convince Julian to turn himself in doesn’t sound right.

Alexis explains Julian thought saying she was his hostage would keep her out of trouble. Jordan starts to leave the room and Alexis asks if this means the case against Julian is lessened now. Jordan leaves. Diane reminds Alexis she could lose her license forever and wonders if Julian is worth it. Alexis will cross that bridge when she gets to it.

Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) tells Ned (Wally Kurth) to wish her luck and leaves. Ned walks into living room and tells Samira (Ivy Natalia) they can only help her so much. Samira wonders where Tracy is. Samira shows Ned a picture of her daughter Sidkia. Samira will do whatever it takes to get her daughter back and keep her safe.

Tracy (Jane Elliott) finishes leaving Finn (Michael Easton) a voicemail asking for the DNA results. Laura (Genie Frances) walks up and asks Tracy if the DNA is for Samira. Tracy updates Laura on Samira giving her Edward’s ring and journal. Laura realizes Samira could be Tracy’s sister. Laura brought a dress for Samira and is going back to the house with Tracy.

Tracy and Laura walk in the living room hearing Samira singing “we gather together”. Ned and Tracy are stunned. Samira says her Mother taught her that song. Ned takes Tracy to the hallway to update her on the Immigration officer being there earlier. Tracy says perfect as she knows exactly how to help Samira now. Tracy walks back in the living room and tells Samira she needs to get out of the country now.

Jason (Billy Miller) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) are showing Jake (Hudson West) old photos. Jake explains it’s the witch that scares him and asks to go to his room. Jason tells Liz that Helena could have ordered him to do anything on that island and he would have done it. Liz suggests maybe Jake saw him do something for Helena. Jason wonders if he hurt Jake some way.

Olivia arrives to see Julian in his jail cell. Olivia updates him on her engagement and that Ned wants to adopt Leo. Julian says absolutely not. She tells Julian he’s going to prison for a very long time and will not know Leo. Julian feels Leo needs to know his father. Olivia suggests he let Ned adopt so Leo isn’t ashamed of who he father is. Olivia begs him again and says even if/when you get out of prison who will be here for him. Olivia leaves.

Jax (Ingo Rademacher) tells Carly to pack a bag and leave with him now. They both agree about loving each other. Carly thinks this is so complicated and blames Sonny (Maurice Benard). Carly mentions Morgan’s grave and its comforting “talking” to him. Jax says you’ll bring those memories wherever you go. Carly mentions she doesn’t want Michael with Nelle (Chloe Lanier). Jax knows Sonny being the real reason she won’t leave. Carly isn’t letting Sonny get away with anything. Jax tells her Sonny is going to destroy her. Carly will take her chances and wishes Jax a safe flight home. Jax reminds her he’s an expert pilot and leaves.
