General Hospital Recap June 21: CarSon’s Unexpected Guest – Danger Lurks On Island – Spencer Angrily Confronts Nina

Wednesday’s June 21 episode of General Hospital begins with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) answering phones in Nina’s (Michelle Stafford) office. Nina notices Nelle wearing a similar bracelet that Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) made her. Nina thinks she won’t get another one since she’s not living with Charlotte. Nelle reminds Nina how much Charlotte loves her and will want to see her. Nelle leaves to get Nina’s salad at Kelly’s.

Laura (Genie Francis), Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) are sitting at a table in Kelly’s. Spencer feels if he were Charlotte he would be embarrassed to call Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) father.
Spencer wants to discuss his stolen inheritance. Kevin explains how the estate went to Valentin when Stavros died. Wyndemere will probably go to Nina since she’s still married to Valentin. Spencer goes to the bathroom as Kevin tells Laura having them moved in has filled his life in ways he couldn’t imagine.
Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Charlotte arrive to the PCPD to give Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) his cell phone. Charlotte notices it’s the place Papa recorded the video. Lulu explains Papa had to go away and they do not know for how long. Dante reassures Charlotte how many people love her. Charlotte mentions Spencer hurts her feelings at times.
Quinn (Jennifer Bassey) tells Nathan (Ryan Paevy) and Amy (Risa Dorken) they have to do the photo shoot for the book deal. Nathan doesn’t want his picture on the book. Amy takes Nathan to the hallway. Nathan insists because of his job his photo can’t be used for the book. Amy says trust me to fix this. They walk back inside and Amy tells Quinn he’ll do the photo shoot. Amy convinces Quinn showing just part of his face will sell more books. Quinn will overnight the contracts. Amy thanks Nathan and hugs him.
Jason (Billy Miller) tries to leave Sonny (Maurice Benard) a voicemail. Jason will try to contact Max. Sam (Kelly Monaco) doesn’t want Max to think Jason is back in the MOB. Michael (Chad Duell) arrives and needs Jason’s signature on several forms. Jason mentions he’s unable to reach Sonny. Michael informs him Sonny and Carly are on the island.
Michael agrees to call Max and have security tightened but he’s not going anywhere near Sonny’s business dealings. Michael asks Jason to join him at ELQ and describes the job. Sam wants Jason to take the job so he won’t be working for Sonny. Jason declines the job offer as they don’t need the money and he has spent too much time away from his family.
Michael gets a text from Nelle to meet him. Michael will give Jason more time to consider taking the job and leaves. Jason tells Sam he’s flying to the island tonight to check on Sonny. Sam screams he can’t go. Sam decides she’ll fly down with Jason.
Michael meets Nelle at Kelly’s and she tells him about her new job. They agree to celebrate by going to the concert in the park tonight. Nelle goes inside to get Nina’s salad and asks Laura about Charlotte. Kevin walks up and tells Laura that Spencer is gone. Meanwhile Spencer arrives to Nina’s office and tells her they need to talk.

Sonny and Carly (Laura Wright) were caught in the rain while walking on the beach. Carly and Sonny are standing by the fire when the thunder cracks. The electric goes out so Sonny lights candles. They discuss being on the island years ago with the boys. Carly hears a loud clattered. Sonny walks into the next room and finds it was the parrot. Carly is on edge and feels something bad is going to happen. Sonny says maybe they can be happy again. As Sonny is kissing Carly a shadow of someone watching them can be seen in the next room.
