General Hospital Recap July 6: Sam’s Hallucinations Grow More Disturbing – Olivia’s Bachelorette Party Drama – Stella Health Crisis

Thursday’s July 6 episode of General Hospital begins with Ned (Wally Kurth), Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) discussing his bachelor party. Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Laura (Genie Francis) arrive and surprise Olivia for dinner and a small bachelorette party.

Olivia is hesitant but agrees to go. Dillon hands out cigars but Ned reminds him it’s a non smoking hotel. Dillon throws the match in the trash causing it to catch fire. The firemen put the fire out as Carly (Laura Wright) reminds them it’s a non smoking room. She asks about Michael (Chad Duell). Dante explains he’s running an errand. The fireman leaves to check the other rooms.

Laura and Olivia drinking martini’s in the Metro Court. Laura leaves to finish phone calls. Laura returns to find Olivia intoxicated. Olivia shouts she’s ready to go to the Haunted Star to see the stripper. Laura says change of plans and takes her upstairs to a room. Laura helps Olivia to bed while Lulu leaves to cancel the stripper.

Olivia admits she’s terrified of getting married. Laura asks if she’s willing to spend the rest of her life without Ned. Olivia says not a chance and falls asleep.

Laura leaves. Olivia wakes up to someone knocking on the door. She mistakes the fireman as the stripper. She shoves him on the bed. Dante arrives to the PCPD to bail Olivia out of jail.

Curtis (Donnell Turner) tells Stella (Vernee Watson) she has to accept he and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) are going to be together. Stella collapses on the floor. Later Griffin explains Stella had a mild stroke and it wasn’t her first one. Curtis and Jordan visit with Stella and inquire about her previous stroke. Stella didn’t want to burden him. She was doing well until she came to Port Charles. Stella thanks Jordan for saving the day. Jordan leaves and asks Griffin if stress caused the stroke. Griffin isn’t certain but he’s going to do all he can to prevent another one.

Joss (Eden McCoy) is texting Oscar (Rio Mangini) she’s going to leave Port Charles to live with her Dad. Carly tells Joss her Dad is out of the country on business for the next six months and she has to stay in Port Charles. Joss doesn’t believe her and calls Jax. Joss blames Sonny for Jax not being able to do business in the US and accuses Carly of condoning it. Carly says it’s complicated and gets a text there’s an emergency at work. Joss texts Oscar she’s staying in town after all.

Sam (Kelly Monaco) hallucinates stabbing Sonny (Maurice Benard). Sonny calls her name a couple of times to get her attention. Sonny explains Jason left a few minutes ago to pick her up at the hospital. Sam tells Sonny to stay away from her and Jason (Billy Miller). Jason calls Sam and they agree to meet at the Metro Court for dinner. Sam apologizes to Sonny and asks him not to tell Jason. Sam leaves. Carly arrives to tell Sonny things with Joss are getting worse.

Sam meets Jason at the Metro Court and says she has an iron deficiency that requires vitamins and more sleep. Jason is telling Sam about Sonny getting out of the business as Sam hallucinates seeing Sonny. Sam ‘sees” Sonny saying he’ll never get out of the business and he’ll never let Jason go.
