General Hospital Recap July 27: Finn Gives Jason Sam’s Grim Diagnosis – Garvey Leaves Sonny For Dead – Liz Attacked In Parking Garage

Thursday’s July 27 episode of General Hospital begins with Curtis (Donnell Turner) telling Stella (Vernee Watson) she’s leaving the hospital today and will be staying with him. Stella mentions Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and Curtis explains they went separate ways. Stella says Jordan can’t trash his life like she did Thomas’s. Curtis tells her just because they didn’t make it as a couple doesn’t mean he still doesn’t care for Jordan. Stella hopes the right woman comes along for Curtis.

Hayden (Rebecca Budig) walks up and hugs Curtis. Curtis introduces Hayden to Stella. Hayden says they’re just friends and is having a baby with her boyfriend Liz (Rebecca Herbst) arrives and takes Stella back to her room. Hayden tells Curtis about the bid on the house.

Curtis mentions marriage and. Hayden becomes defensive. Hayden worries how she’ll measure up to Finn’s (Michael Easton) first wife who was a saint. Curtis suggests she talks to Finn and soon.

Jordan tells Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that Garvey (Rick Ravanello) escaped and is headed to Port Charles. Dante leaves to tell Sonny (Maurice Benard). Jordan picks up her keys and leaves.

GH Star Rebecca Budig News And Updates 

Jordan arrives to Stella’s hospital room with Curtis’s keys. Stella says to place them on the table and mentions Curtis didn’t mean to break her heart. Jordan tells Stella they mutually decided to end the relationship. Stella’s glad something good came out of her medical crisis. Jordan leaves. Later Curtis arrives to take Stella home. Stella tells him to get her overnight bag. Curtis sees the keys and picks them up with the bag. Curtis offers to push Stella in the wheelchair but Liz wants to get her sweater out of her car anyway.

Sonny tries to stand up but falls. Garvey sees Sonny in the pit. Sonny tries to make a deal with him. Garvey refuses to help Sonny. Garvey wants to leave but wants Sonny dead too. Garvey throws dirt on Sonny and covers the pit with wooden pallets. Sonny yells to Garvey he’ll make him pay for this. Sonny tells himself he’s going home then passes out.

Michael (Chad Duell) tells Carly (Laura Wright) that Sonny missed their meeting this morning. Carly informs Michael that Max (Derk Cheetwood) will be running the day to day until Sonny can find a successor. Dante arrives and Carly tells him no one has seen Sonny all day. Dante tells them about Garvey.

Finn (Michael Easton) instructs the nurse to get Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) blood down to the lab immediately for a specific test. Jason (Billy Miller) screams for help as Sam is having a seizure. Finn and Griffin (Matt Cohen) run in to help. Jason keeps asking what’s wrong with his wife. Finn tells Jason that Sam has an infection of the brain called toxoplasmosis. It’s usually passed through animals and has no idea how long she has had it. It can be transferred to fetus and lead to seizures and blindness. Jason gives Griffin permission to contact Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to have Scout tested.

Carly calls Jason to tell him about Garvey. Jason can’t worry about that right now and tells her about Sam. Carly tells Jason she’s on her way. Jason is sitting at Sam’s beside when Sam wakes up. Sam has a vision of Sonny. Sam starts screaming “you’re in the ground, you can’t hurt us anymore”.

Liz is in the parking garage and hears someone coughing. Liz calls out asking if they need help. Garvey grabs Liz around the neck. Liz begs him not to kill her as she has 3 children. Garvey tells Liz she’s going to patch him up or her kids will become orphans. As Garvey pushes Liz toward the door Carly walks up.
