General Hospital Recap July 26: Sam Rushed To Hospital – Sonny Trapped – Spencer Tries To Pin Kidnapping On Valentin

Wednesday’s July 26 episode of General Hospital begins with Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) telling Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) kidnapped him. Spencer becomes very dramatic telling his story including he saw Valentin’s shoes while being kidnapped. Dante takes Spencer & Laura (Genie Francis) to an interrogation room. Nina wants to believe Valentin is telling the truth but knows he was trying to take Spencer when he first arrived to Port Charles.

Spencer tells Dante he wants Valentin arrested immediately. Dante gets a text and leaves the room. Laura tells Spencer what Valentin did to his father was wrong and he will pay someday for it.

Spencer  accusing Valentin for something he didn’t do is making him a victim just as he was with his actual kidnapper. Dante walks back in and asks Spencer if he has anything to add to his statement.

Spencer finally admits he doesn’t know who took him. Dante leaves to tell Valentin he is free to leave the PCPD. Spencer walks out and tells Valentin he killed his Father so be prepared to die.

GH Star Rebecca Budig News And Updates 

Hayden (Rebecca Budig) thanks Liz (Rebecca Herbst) for helping her the other day. Hayden has tons of baby books and feels she’s doing everything wrong. Hayden asks Liz how she became a good mother. Liz reassures Hayden and announces she’s giving her a baby shower.

Sam (Kelly Monaco) tells Jason (Billy Miller) she made sure it’s finally over. Sam keeps going in and out of consciousness. Jason picks her up and leaves for the hospital.

Finn (Michael Easton) and Griffin (Matt Cohen) are picking up their lunch at Floating Rib when Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) walks in. They exchange snarks. Finn is glad they’re issues are resolved and leaves.

Finn and Griffin are eating lunch at the hospital. Finn tells Griffin he is finally getting a second chance at happiness with Hayden. Jason runs in carrying Sam yelling for help. Jason tells them when Sam is awake she’s not making sense. Sam has a fever and will be admitted to the hospital. Sam has a vision of Sonny telling Sam she killed him and this will never be over. Sam starts screaming tearing her oxygen mask off. She tells Jason she wants to go home as they aren’t safe there. Later her test results are back. Finn tells Griffin he thinks he knows what is wrong with Sam.

Jared arrives to meet with Dr. Obrecht. Dr. O tells Jared she knows about his past marriage to Rachel aka Hayden. She suspects he went to prison for her and wants to help him. Dr. O tells him how Finn ruined her professional life. She suggests they work together to get retribution.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) wakes up on the floor in the pit. He yells for Sam to get him out of there. He takes his jacket and vest off. Sonny struggles as he climbs on a wooden box. It breaks sending him to the floor. Sonny tries to use his phone but it doesn’t work. Sonny groaning in pain as he throws his phone.
