General Hospital Recap July 17: CarSon Finds Ava At Morgan’s Grave – Valentin Tracks Down Charlotte – Jason Catches Sam Lying

Monday’s July 17 episode of General Hospital begins with Sam (Kelly Monaco) telling Jason (Billy Miller) it wasn’t necessary for him to tag along to pick up her vitamins. Liz (Rebecca Herbst) tells Sam her doctor has a spot open today for her follow up testing. Liz realizes Jason wasn’t aware and apologizes.

Jason confronts Sam about lying to him. Sam says something came up. Jason asks Liz to see if the appointment is still open. Sam has a vision of Sonny (Maurice Benard) telling her to get out of this appointment because it won’t go well for her. They’ll see she’s crazy, lock her up and no one can stop him from hurting her family. Jason keeps saying Sam’s name and asks if she’s okay.

Griffin (Matt Cohen) walks up explaining he’s covering for Sam’s doctor and orders neurological testing as a precaution. Sam has another vision of Sonny telling her if she’s going to eliminate him she better do it now.

Carly (Laura Wright) asks Sonny to put her wedding rings back on her finger for renewing their commitment to each other. They promise to build on each others strengths.

Sonny informs Carly the DA isn’t prosecuting Ava. Carly wants revenge. Sonny feels Ava being disfigured by the fire is her punishment and they need to say move on. Carly wants to visit Morgan’s grave first.

Felix (Marc Samuel) tells Ava (Maura West) she’s released from the hospital. Ava refuses to leave. Griffin walks in. Ava has no interest in scaring children as she walks down the street. Griffin says she doesn’t have to do this alone and leaves to get Felix. Andre visits Ava and asks if she’s suicidal. Ava wants away from the world she’s not part of. Andre gives Ava his card and leaves. Felix arrives with the wheelchair to take Ava home. Ava wants to make a stop on the way.

Felix brings Stella (Vernee Watson) the flowers that TJ (Tequan Richmond) sent her. Stella mentions she loved getting bouquets years ago from someone special. Felix leaves and Curtis (Donell Turner) walks in. Curtis asks about the special man. Stella explains his name was Marcus, she was a senior in college, he proposed and she accepted. Curtis’s mother became ill so she dropped out of college to raise him and Tommy and has no regrets. Jordan keeps calling Curtis. Stella tells him to take the call as she’s going to try to control her temper around Jordan.

Anna (Finola Hughes) tells Andre (Anthony Montgomery) that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) has been released from prison. She hopes Valentin doesn’t go back to his old ways or she’ll have to take him down. Anna notices Andrea feeling awkward but reassures him they’re still friends. Jordan walks over and Andre leaves. Jordan asks about them being a couple but Anna explains they’re just friends. Jordan worries she’s the reason for Stella’s strokes. Anna encourages Jordan not to let the past spoil her future with Curtis. Jordan calls Curtis and invites him to dinner.

General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Abducted, But By Who? Jaw-Dropping Twist! (GH Promo)

Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel), Laura (Genie Frances) and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) are walking in the park toward Lila’s Camp. Spencer wants to do something at his play that will shock the audience. Valentin steps out from the tree and completely agrees that’s a great idea. Charlotte hugs Valentin. Laura asks the camp counselor to walk Spencer and Charlotte to camp. Laura tells Valentin that was cruel since he doesn’t have custody of Charlotte. Valentin has already applied to resume custody. Laura mentions the wrongful death law suit. Valentin’s lawyers reassured him he’ll win as there is no body and no proof Nicholas is dead.

Charlotte tells Spencer he was rude to Papa. Spencer says her father killed his father. Charlotte becomes upset and runs back to Valentin. Laura asks Spencer what he did to her. Charlotte tells Papa that Spencer said you killed his father. Valentin speaks in French to Charlotte and she leaves. Valentin asks Spencer if he’s happy hurting Charlotte because of him. Spencer leaves. Valentin tells Laura that Spencer is a spoiled little bastard.

Carly and Sonny are at Morgan’s grave saying they finally found out what happened to him. As they’re crying saying how proud they are of him, Ava walks up.
