General Hospital RECAP Friday, June 16: Nathan Agrees To Help Amy – Spencer Acts Out – Sam Mysteriously Breaks Down

Friday begins with Amy (Risa Dorken) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) discussing her brother Chet. Amy tells Nathan how Chet would sign his return letters to her as “Man Landers”. That’s how she got the idea for her blog and now a book deal. Chet is different after returning home from combat and lives in a group home. Their Mother passed away and Amy is struggling to pay the group home costs and that’s why she needed the book deal. Nathan agrees not to tell anyone about Chet’s condition. Amy drops a stack of papers. Nathan helps pick them up and notices they’re medical bills for Chet. Nathan changes his mind and agrees to pretend he is Man Landers to meet with the publisher.

Sam Morgan
Sam (Kelly Monaco) is sitting at Metro Court when Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) stops to talk. Sam is waiting for Jason (Billy Miller) and has a weird feeling even though Jason is only 5 minutes late. Sam says she has some anxiety and doesn’t help she can’t wrap her head around what happened to Jason on Cassadine Island. Kevin mentions Jason is used to making his own choices but Helena took that away from him. Kevin gets a text and leaves the table to call the hospital. When he finishes the call Sam is gone.

Laura Webber
Laura (Genie Francis) tells Lulu (Emme Rylan) she’s feeling a little in the way living there since Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) moved in. Lulu insists she’s stays. Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) walks in and says his sleeping arrangements are annoying and Charlotte is the problem. Laura tries to tell Spencer to stop being so disrespectful. He mentions his father’s death and wonders if she has forgotten about him. Spencer is upset Charlotte is living in his house. Laura explains Charlotte isn’t to blame for what Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) did. Spencer sits down to help everyone with the puzzle but he tears it up throwing pieces all over the floor. Kevin arrives as Spencer is picking up the puzzle pieces. Kevin asks Laura if she’s free and Spencer wants to tag along. Charlotte tells Lulu she misses Nina and Papa and asks if that makes her mad. Lulu and Dante reassure her they understand and says they’re a new family stuck together like glue.
Later Laura and Kevin are sitting on a bench in the park while Spencer is getting a snack. Laura tells him she needs to get her own place. Kevin asks Laura to move in with him. Laura mentions Spencer. Kevin says both are welcome. Laura hesitates but after a few minutes of discussion, she agrees to move in. Spencer walks up and asks what about him.

Costa (Eddie Davenport) tells Jason he only delivered the package to Jake and didn’t ask what was in it. They can either walk away or kill each other. They begin fist fighting. Jason wants to know why he endangered Jake. Costa worked for Helena just like Jason. They continue fighting. Jason has a choke hold on Costa when Sam and a cop arrive. The cop takes Costa to PCPD and tells Jason to come in later to give a statement. Jason tells Sam he thinks this is finally over. They walk inside the hospital.
Liz Webber
Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Jake (Hudson West) are waiting in a patient room when Hayden (Rebecca Budig) rushes in and runs to the bathroom. Hayden walks back in and Liz jokes maybe she’s pregnant. Hayden admits she is and is concerned about being a good mother. Liz reassures her. PCPD Cop opens the door and tells Liz the incident is over.
Jason hugs Jake in the hallway and tells Liz the threat is over. Jake and Hayden walk to the vending machine. Liz wonders if Costa working for someone else besides Helena. Jason feels confident he isn’t and they are safe.

Sam sits down on the steps near the nurses’ station. She hallucinates Jason has blood on his head and face as he’s talking to Liz. Liz walks to Jake as he hugs and tells Aunt Hayden how much he likes her. Jason asks Sam if she’s okay. Sam is crying and says no things aren’t okay as she still sees blood that really isn’t there.
