General Hospital Recap Friday May 12: Real Anna Not In Port Charles, Impostor Confirmed – Nelle Violently Attacked – Carly Catches Martina And Sonny

Friday’s May 12 episode of General Hospital begins with Griffin (Matt Cohen) informing Hayden (Rebecca Budig) she is pregnant. Hayden questions why the lab would do a pregnancy test on Finn’s urine drug test. Finn (Michael Easton) asks Hayden if it’s really possible for her to be pregnant. Griffin leaves to check with the lab.

Later Griffin explains the urine test has no name or sex listed just a number. HCG hormone was present so lab tech did the pregnancy test. Hayden realizes there is no mistake and she is pregnant.

Hayden mentions they haven’t been intimate in; Finn says 7 weeks and 3 days. Hayden isn’t certain she’s ready to be a parent and questions if Finn is. They discuss children and Hayden admits to missing Spencer. They both express love to each other. Finn says he’ll support whatever decision she makes.

Nelle (Chloe Lanier) on the pier calls Nina (Michelle Stafford) and leaves a message that she has decided to quit her job and doesn’t feel comfortable spying on Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Michael walks up and Nelle explains she took Nina’s deal because she thought the end would justify the means but it didn’t.

Nelle says it’s time for her next adventure and to leave, but will stay if he can give her a good reason. Michael doesn’t reply and Nelle realizes he’s not forgiving her anytime soon. He wishes her good luck and leaves. Later Nelle is sitting alone on the pier in the dark. A thug tries to rob her. Nelle is able to defend herself once. The thug punches her; she fells backwards hitting crates. He grabs her purse and leaves. Nelle is unconscious laying on the pier in the dark.

Carly (Laura Wright) confronts Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Martina (Daya Vaidya) why they were holding hands. Martina tells Carly she is quitting as her lawyer. Sonny tries to explain he’s the reason. Martina lies that she represented Sonny’s company in the past. Carly wonders why she wouldn’t remember his name. Carly questions why Martina would tell Sonny first. Martina lies that she just found out.

Carly asks about the hand holding. Sonny denies it. Carly says it was intimate as if they were on a prior connection on a personal level. Carly doesn’t believe them and asks Sonny where his honor is. Martina leaves. Carly demands the truth how Sonny got Martina on his side. Sonny says he told her the truth. Carly knows he didn’t and vows to find the truth and leaves. Martina comes back inside the coffee shop after Carly leaves. Sonny warns her that Carly knows they’re hiding something and won’t give up until she finds the truth.

Michael catches up with Carly to tell her Nelle is leaving town for good this time. Carly tells Michael that Sonny is mixing it up with Martina. Carly is pretty sure she knows how and is going to prove it.

Anna calls Valentin flirting and asking if he’d like to meet her at Kelly’s so they can get reacquainted as he mentioned. Valentin tells Anna he doesn’t want to see her ever again. Later Anna is on the phone with a mysterious person explaining she hasn’t been able to get the Chimera information due to losing transmission causing a set back. Valentin is refusing any kind of intimacy with her. She understands how important it is to the Chimera. Anna finishes the call and Jordan sits down.

Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) asks Anna how she is doing. Anna says her cancer is under control and starting to settle down. Jordan would like some settling down in her personal life. Jordan thought Anna and Andre (Anthony Montgomery) would hook up. Anna says it’s not the right time for a complicated relationship. Jordan wonders if being with Curtis is the right choice. Anna tells her to go for it. Jordan anticipated Anna giving her words of wisdom. Jordan questions if the shift in Anna’s attitude has to do with her health. Anna is distracted and agrees its health related.

Curtis (Donnell Turner) shows Nina (Michelle Stafford) the listening device Anna (Finola Hughes) placed in the band of the watch she gave Valentin. Curtis warns Nina the WSB can be very dangerous and be careful. Nina tells Curtis how Anna preyed on Valentin and knows she left him. Curtis tells Nina she left Valentin at the right time. He’s dangerous and under investigation by the WSB. Nina sees Valentin walk in. Curtis leaves. Valentin tells Nina he doesn’t want to lose her. Anna means nothing to him but she means everything.

Valentin was looking for closure and thought Anna could give it to him. He promises never to see Anna again. Nina tells him Anna has been using him pure and simple. Nina shows him the listening device and explains Anna has been listening to his every word. Valentin realizes this explains how Anna knew where to find him and would call after Nina left the house. Valentin tells Nina he hurt her and Charlotte and will never forgive himself. Valentin leaves.

Curtis brings Jordan a flower and asks her to be his date for the Nurses Ball. He wants to show people how fly they are. Jordan says yes and she needs to find an amazing dress.

Anna is outside of Kelly’s calling Valentin saying pick up the phone. Valentin walks up and says here I am. He tells Anna he can’t fight any longer of not being together and suggests they go somewhere private.

The real Anna is lying in a hospital bed asleep while a nurse checks her vital signs.
