When presented with the chance to do a good deed for someone else, will Ava Jerome (Maura West) do the right or the wrong thing on General Hospital? She’s no saint, but her latest dilemma could lead to her long overdue redemption.
Where to start with Ava’s lengthy list of misdeeds? After stealing away her young daughter’s boyfriend, her unconscionable actions played a part in his grotesque, premature death.
Some would say she’s now paying an immense price for her karmic crimes. Currently Ava is tucked away in a foreign institution, awaiting a life-changing operation.

Her gorgeous, man-eating face was destroyed in a fire that she set hoping to hurt others. Instead the universe bit her back, and now she’s so scarred externally that she can’t face (pardon the pun) life as she knows it.
So how can she repay the people that she’s hurt the most, thus paving the way for a decent life back in Port Charles? By returning Jason Morgan to town!
Ava is in the same clinic as Patient 6, who just so happens to be played by Steve Burton in his return to the iconic soap.
Ava doesn’t know this since the bandaged and mute man is a complete enigma for now. But she senses something significant is hiding behind that face mask, and is drawn to him again and again.

Despite repeated warnings to stay away from the supposedly violent patient, Ava keeps seeking him out. When she sees that Patient 6 reacts to hearing Port Charles mentioned, she’s even more intrigued. I mean, yes it’s a small world, but what are the chances that these two patients wind up in the same clinic at the same time?
Will she risk her own health and safety to help the puzzling patient? Or will she blow her last chance to be a hero?
