General Hospital POLL: Steve Burton’s Epic Return – Did It Live Up to the Hype or Were You Disappointed – VOTE!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Steve Burton made his epic return to the ABC soap opera he called home for over 20 years today. GH fans have been eagerly anticipating his arrival on Tuesday, September 19, 2017; but we literally only caught a glimpse of his face at the very end of the episode. Was his return exactly as you hoped for – did it live up to its hype or were you thoroughly disappointed?

GH made several viewers jump back when the heavily sedated “Patient 6” grabbed a hold of Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) arm when she approached him talking about her life back in Port Charles and some of the dastardly things she has done. The entire time he had been clenching his fist while she spoke but when he grabbed her, it shocked many people.

General Hospital spoilers had revealed to everyone last week, the photograph that was leaked proving the man in the chair was indeed Steve Burton, but everyone is remaining unusually tigh-lipped about who he will actually be portraying. Many long time fans feel that he should return to the role he originated, Jason Morgan, which is currently being portrayed by Billy Miller; while others feel it would be better if Burton returned as a new character. How do you feel about that?

Today, will be a show that will go down in GH’s history as one that was either highly successful or a complete dud. There was so much excitement for Burton, and die hard fans have been showing the promo video of him riding a motorcycle, in his black t-shirt and lather jacket but we saw none of that today. The final shot for today was the masked man removing his sun glasses and mask, revealing Steve Burton’s face. He did not speak a word nor did he do anything to give us a clue as to who he really is.
