General Hospital News: William DeVry Shares Sad News

General Hospital (GH) star William DeVry, who currently portrays the role of Julian Jerome, took to Twitter earlier today to share some very sad news with his fans. William DeVry shared on twitter about the recent sudden passing of his pet along with a picture. William tweeted “RIP. Smallest lil angel biggest part of my life 4 12 years. Hit by car 6 hours before i got home from the East Coast. Having anxiety looking for me”.

William had some personal business to wrap up and returned home to a devastating loss. No doubt the sudden passing of his longtime friend has brought many viewers and fans out of the woodwork and many on social media responded to his shocking news with deep sorrow and many expressed their deepest condolences’.

As many know, losing your furry friend is heart-wrenching and a hard loss to take. DeVry did share that his dog was full of anxiety looking for him as most dogs do when their master is out of their sight. As many fans are probably aware, Devry is an animal lover and advocates himself as someone who is passionate about animal rescues.

Not so long ago, Devry interviewed with ABC Soaps in Depth and shared with them his passion for animals and dogs in particular. Devry stated “If I see a dog on the side of the road, I stop and get them,” DeVry divulges. “I raise money for foundations and charities and rescue groups.”

While he also acknowledges that he likes to change up the organizations he supports, this one is of importance to him. “I like to switch it around,” deVry says, “but Hope For Paws does great work. They film everything so they can document the rescues. You pretty much see every rescue they do.” No doubt his love for animals and acting is right up there and we can sincerely feel his pain over the loss of his dog of 12 years. Our hearts are with William DeVry during this difficult time.
