General Hospital News: Rio Mangini Joins GH Cast!

‘General Hospital’ fans are going to be seeing a new face join the cast this summer. New reports indicate that actor Rio Mangini has a cool new part on the long-running soap opera.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Rio will be playing a new boy in town named Oscar. He’s one of Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) new friends. Spoilers indicate that Oscar and Josslyn will possibly develop a new relationship.

In other words, the two might be getting into some sort of drama together. After all, Josslyn has been acting like a rebellious teenager lately as an act of revenge against her mother, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

Despite his age, Rio is already a veteran television actor. He’s either starred in or voiced several different series including ‘Good Luck Charlie,’ ‘Switched at Birth,’ ‘See Dad Run,’ and ‘Bella and the Bulldogs.’ He will also be seen in two new projects, ‘Reach,’ and ‘B.O.: Bureau of Otherwordly Operations.’

So far Rio himself hasn’t made any comments about his new role on ‘General Hospital.’ Although seeing what kind of fan base he already has thanks to his heartthrob good looks, there’s a strong possibility that we might be seeing more of him in the coming weeks.
