General Hospital News: Kathleen Gati Shares Amazing News

General Hospital (GH) spoilers are happy to reveal that Kathleen Gati, who portrays the usually mean and outspoken Dr. Liesl Obrecht on GH, has taken to social media to announce the birth of her perfectly healthy first grandchild, a boy named Miles. She takes a moment to thank his parents Derek and Valerie for such an amazing gift, promising she will be around with lots of baked goods and warning all her friends and family that she will carry so many pictures of the sweet little guy that people will be forced to see them!

GH fans from all over the world are congratulating the first time grandmother and of course here at Soap Opera Spy we would like to extend our happiest congratulations on the new addition to her family.

Of course most General Hospital viewers are preparing for the coming week filled with Nurses Ball events and although Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) never disappoints by being publicly humiliated as she appears in public in her under garments; but there seems to be a new tradition emerging; one fans have thoroughly enjoyed: Dr. O has managed to become an essential part of the entertainment as she hijacks the stage with some fabulous performance. Aside from the annual Nurses Ball, there always seems to be a lot of drama inside General Hospital and Dr. Obrecht always seems to be a part of it; constantly trying to out maneuver Chief of Staff, Dr. Monica Quartermaine and destroy Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

Whether you like or dislike Dr. O, there is one thing for sure, Kathleen Gati is one incredible performer who keeps everyone on their toes and we are sure she will shine in her new role as Gramma to baby Miles.
