‘General Hospital’ News: Prince Harry’s Girlfriend Meghan Markle Was On GH

Meghan Markle began her acting career with a small role on ‘General Hospital’ as a nurse. Prince Harry’s girlfriend may be recognized everywhere she goes these days, but back in 2002 she was just part of the background during an episode or two of the ABC daytime drama.

According to Meghan’s IMDb page, Prince Harry’s girlfriend appeared as ‘Jill’ in a ‘GH’ episode that aired on November 14, 2002. During that time, Brenda Barrett [Vanessa Marcil], Sky Quartermaine [Robin Christopher] and Jason Morgan [Steve Burton] were in Port Charles.

After Meghan Markle’s quick stint on ‘General Hospital,’ the actress picked up a few small acting parts here and there, appearing in two episodes of ‘90210’ as Wendy in 2008. Meghan is best known for her portrayal of Rachel Zane on the USA drama ‘Suits.’

In addition to her work as an actress, Meghan is a dedicated foodie with a lifestyle blog – ‘The Tig.’ You can check out the actress’s Instagram account for photos of her delicious creations, personal family photos and inspirational thoughts.

Recently it was reported that Meghan Markle met Kate Middleton and presented the Duchess of Cambridge with a leather-bound Dream Journal. It is believed Meghan hopes to inspire Kate to share inspirational thoughts as well.

Royal insiders previously revealed that Kate Middleton approves whole-heartedly of Harry and Meghan’s relationship and cannot wait for the couple to marry.

If the rumors are true, Harry and Meghan may announce their engagement very soon. Harry publicly acknowledged their relationship before embarking on his tour of the Caribbean. Immediately following the completion of his official duties Harry flew to Toronto for a brief visit with Meghan.

Just before Christmas, the first photographs of Harry and Meghan were published. The couple bought a Christmas tree for Harry’s Nottingham Cottage home on the grounds of Kensington Palace.

The characters of ‘General Hospital have included princes, but the soap might be able to boast someday that a real-life princess once had a small role on ‘GH.’
