‘General Hospital’ News: Emme Rylan Reveals How Her Pregnancy Will Affect GH Storylines

Emme Rylan (Lulu Falconari) is pregnant in real life, and she just revealed whether or not, “General Hospital,” fans will see a Lante baby in real life!

Lulu already has her hands full coming to terms with the fact that her newly-found mini-me daughter Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) can’t stand her. Is this really a good time for her and husband Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) to give Rocco another sibling?

In addition, Lante is gearing up to battle evil Valentin Cassadine (Patrick Stuart) for custody of Charlotte. Things are busy in the Falconari household!

Now probably wouldn’t be a good time to launch a pregnancy storyline for Lante, and Rylan confirms that TPTB will not be writing her own pregnancy in to GH.

While that’s no doubt a disappointment for some fans, there’s another bright spot that viewers can look forward to! Rylan, who’s due in late June, will not skip a beat when it comes to filming. That’s right, Rylan is quite the trooper and has decided not to take any maternity leave!

But the good news keeps on coming for Rylan’s fans! Not only will they not have to do without the spunky blonde in the coming months, she’s resigned a contract that will ensure she’s onscreen for the near future. Yea, we love us some Lulu!

Rylan spilled the good news on Twitter: “I will be hiding my pregnancy and working right up until I have her. No time off! My storyline won’t miss a beat.”

It’s probably a wise decision to keep Lulu pregnancy-free. As loyal GH viewers know, she has longstanding fertility issues that have wreaked havoc in her life. Charlotte is the result of a stolen embryo that was fertilized without Lulu’s knowledge.

Although Rylan acknowledges that anything is possible on soaps, it would strain credulity to have Lulu suddenly become pregnant after all of her past struggles.

Rylan and her fiancé Don Money have two sons, Jackson, 7, and Levi, 5.
