General Hospital (GH) news are teasing that former All My Children’s Cameron Mathison, who portrayed the role of Ryan Lavery, could possibly be surfacing in Port Charles soon.

Recently, Cameron Mathison sat down with Soap Opera Digest, for an interview where the actor discussed his personal life as well as his current job as host on Entertainment Tonight (ET). Mathison was also asked about the possibility of re-joining the soap opera world. Cameron gleefully teased that GH fans might be seeing Ryan Lavery pop up in Port Charles very soon.

As many All My Children fans will recall, Mathsion had mad chemistry and worked well for many years with GH’s Rebecca Budig who plays the role as Hayden Barnes. Could GH be casting Cameron Mathison as Ryan Lavery to come to Port Charles and stir up romantic troubles between Hayden and Finn (Micael Easton)?
When Soap Opera Digest probed Mathison, he did tease that a few gigs on GH would be ideal and with the lawsuit settled with Prospect Park that now allows other Daytime characters from other soaps such as All My Children and One Life To Live to cross-over- the possibility of Ryan Lavery arriving in Port Charles is entirely possible.
Frank Valentini, as we know is no stranger to bringing over OLTL and AMC fan favorites to GH as many of the viewers seem to enjoy seeing their favorite characters again and are thrilled when they come over into General Hospital. No doubt if the character of AMC’s Ryan Lavery where to cross-over, who would he possibly have ties with?

It would make sense that Mathison and Budig would re-connect and possible Ryan Lavery could steal her heart away from Dr Finn Hamilton. Of course, nothing is confirmed that Mathison is headed to General Hospital just yet but it sure does look promising.
