‘General Hospital’ News: Brandon Barash Headed To Primetime, Joins Cast of NBC’s ‘Timeless’

It’s been a while since we have seen Brandon Barash’s (ex-Johnny Zacchara) face on General Hospital, but you can now catch him in his guest starring role on NBC’S drama, Timeless.

General Hospital’s handsome alum will be appearing in episode 14 of Timeless, where he will be playing the part of an American novelist who goes by the name Ernest Hemingway. Executive producer Eric Kripke of Timeless reported that it will take place in Paris during the Jazz age after World War I.

The EP also added that when viewers meet the future novelist, he is a budding newspaper reporter with a sense of adventure, still recovering from the brutality of the war with a few stiff drinks. It will be very interesting to see Brandon in another character outside of General Hospital. It will be funny to see him playing the part of a drunk reporter. He is such a talented actor and has always hit it out of the park with any of his roles.

NBC’s Timeless returns with all new episodes starting Monday, January 16th at 10pm. You can see Brandon Barash on the episode set to air February 6th. So make sure to mark your calendars or set those DVR’s so you will not miss it. It’s going to be an awesome show and it makes it even better that Brandon will be guest starring. We may even see some other familiar faces.

It’s been over a year since we seen Brandon Barash pop in on General Hospital, but that does not mean he hasn’t been a busy man. He has been enjoying his time touring with his band “Port Chuck” with Steve Burton (ex-Jason Morgan), Scott Reeves (ex-Steven Webber), and Bradford Anderson (ex-Spinelli) all from GH. He will be starring in an upcoming movie called “Stolen From The Cradle.” There hasn’t been anymore available information on that just yet.
