General Hospital Kathleen Gati And Jon Lindstrom Gear Up For Prime-Time Roles

Lately, Kathleen Gati (Obrecht) and Jon Lindstrom (Kevin) hasn’t seen much in Port Charles lately, but the actors are hard at work in prime-time. Gati returned to CW’s Arrow, and Lindstrom scored a guest spot on NCIS: Los Angeles. Here’s everything we know about their appearances.

Kathleen Gati

Gati returned to CW’s Arrow, reprising the role she played in the 2012 pilot episode —Oliver’s childhood nanny. Kathleen told ABC Soaps In Depth that her character on Arrow is the polar opposite of Obrecht. She is warm, kind, and loving. She wants to embrace and love everyone. Gati added that it’s different playing this time of a role.

Another difference in daytime versus primetime is taking hours to shoot one scene. Kathleen said that General Hospital shoots a scene in a few minutes. Apparently, the Arrow producer shot multiple angles of one scene, taking over six hours to get the right take.

“I told Stephen Amell (Arrow) that on GH, we would have taped seven episodes in six hours. And, I wasn’t joking,” Kathleen stated. As for Obrecht’s future on General Hospital, she isn’t sure what the future holds. She hopes that her alter ego can survive her feud with Finn (Michael Easton). She will continue to stay on a recurring for as long as GH wants her.

Jon Lindstrom

Lindstrom, who plays Kevin on GH, recently taped an upcoming episode of NCIS: Los Angeles. The actor said that he could get used to prime time, adding they get their own trailers and they bring you meals.
Jon will appear on the fourth episode of the season (beginning of November). NCIS; Los Angeles returns on October 12 at 9 p.m. Gati’s airdate is not available at the moment.
