General Hospital Comings and Goings: Are GH Andre and Britt Gone For Good?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that fans might soon be saying goodbye to corrupt doctor Andre (Anthony Montgomery) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). That’s because, with the mystery behind Faison’s connection to the twin memory swap and Nathan’s pending parenthood, there might not leave much room for Britt in upcoming storylines.

According to ABC Soaps in Depth, Kelly herself said that while she has been invited to come back for several more episodes, she doesn’t see herself staying for more than just one storyline. If that weren’t enough, Andre might be gone for good, especially now that he has been transferred to a federal prison. Anthony himself has admitted that fans have had a mixed reaction to the not-so-good doctor.

Anthony said, “Some people are saying, ‘I knew there was something shady about him all along.’ When I read those, I say, ‘No you didn’t. Because I didn’t even know that! What are you talking about? Some people are reading love it and some even hope he’s bad because, for some reason, people love to root for the bad guy.”

Anthony added that while he doesn’t know what the future holds, he doesn’t think Andre will be written off just yet. He added, “If General Hospital is taking Andre in this direction and has the fans wanting to engage more, then I’m all for it.”

So far General Hospital producers have made no comments on whether we will be seeing more of Andre or Britt or if their characters will be taking a break from the current storylines. Of course, fans will just have to tune in to see what will happen next!
