General Hospital Alum Alicia Leigh Willis Opens Up About Her New Project

General Hospital star Alicia Leigh Willis (Courtney Matthews) is opening up about her new project, The Student. The exciting new thriller is currently available to rent or digitally buy on Amazon. Alicia plays Abigail Grandacre, a law professor who discovers that one of her students is out for revenge because she put her father behind bars, where he ended up killing himself. The film also stars Blake Michael.

According to Alicia, despite it’s dark nature, The Student has been one of the most exciting films she’s ever worked on. That’s because the film gave her an opportunity to show off her ability to do plenty of on-screen stunts, which is something she loves doing in front of the cameras.

She told Soaps in Death in an interview, “It’s a thriller. I seem to do a lot of those! You can have a lot of fun with it and usually, you get to do a lot of stunts, and that I love.”

The film also stars plenty of other familiar faces to the soap world, including One Life to Live fan favorite Trevor St. John. Alicia said she loved working with Trevor, adding, “I had one of my best scenes with him just because he really goes there, you know? He’s so talented and he makes you a better actor for sure. He raises the bar.
