According to reports, the 56-year-old actress says she would love to work on another popular soap sooner rather than later. That’s because she’s not ready to quit the entertainment business just yet.
Speaking to Britain’s Express, Charlie said, “Do you know, I think I would. I’ve watched Coronation Street all of my life so maybe…or Doctors? Or Hollyoaks?”

She also cheekily added that she wouldn’t mind an on-screen makeover, too.
Charlie quipped, “I was Sonia’s headmistress in EastEnders 15 years ago so there’d have to be a makeover! Ooh you never know.”
Charlie is currently working on the play HYEM (yem, hjem, home) at the Theatre503 in London. The play runs until mid-October.
