Emmerdale Spoilers: Soap Loses Even More Characters! Summer Twist Sets Stage For Shock Exits

In 2017 alone, there have been ten characters leaving the Dales. Emmerdale spoilers tease that the latest stars to go are Thomas Atkinson, John MCardle, Louise Marwood and Jonathan Wrather. Just what is going on for so many of the actors to be walking away?

A source dished to The Sun, “the cast of Emmerdale are starting to feel concerned for the show’s future as one by one all of the regulars are leaving.”

A concern many fans share as the show is losing favourites such as Adam Thomas and not replacing them with new talent.

So why exactly is this happening? Well, there is a rumour that it is due to producer Iain MacLeod. It is said that he is not concerned with the shows regular actors but only with the new talent he finds.

It was Pasha Bocarie who confirmed this theory when he quit the show because of this producer.

The actor who plays Rakesh did not like harsh changes that Iain has brought to the soap. And he is not the only one with a whopping 10 gone in only 12 months. Soap turnover is fast with all the murders and dramatic accidents but the Dales is going to set a record soon if their stars keep leaving. It is slightly concerning that nothing is being done to keep the show’s favourites from disappearing.

And it doesn’t seem to be getting any better a source revealed to The Sun “there are going to be some huge plots in the coming months which will see several show favourites leave the programme for good. The idea seems to be that it’s out with the old and in with the new.” Who else is going to leave? Will your favourite leave the Dales for good? And who exactly will replace them?
